PAPER CUSHIONED SHIPPING ENVELOPES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
According to some illustrative embodiments, a protective product is provided that includes: an envelope having a two-layer wall structure, the two-layer wall structure including a) a first outer paper layer, and b) a second inner paper layer, wherein the second inner paper layer includes width-wise positional variations of the side surface of the second inner sheet that cushions items placed within an inner pouch of the envelope, and forms an interior wall of the inner pouch of the envelope and directly contacts the items placed within the inner pouch of the envelope. In some preferred implementations, the width-wise positional variations of the side surface of the second inner paper layer includes pleats, undulations and/or embossments, and, preferably, the pleats, undulations and/or embossments include ridges that extend perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to an outlet of the envelope.
Recyclable blister package
A blister package is provided that includes a base made from cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) and a lidding film that includes polyolefin layer(s) or a combination of polyolefin and COC layers, that allows both the lidding film and base to be recycled in a single plastic waste stream.
A Packaging Container and Process
A packaging container for a product made from recyclable environmentally acceptable materials having a body (1) or compartment sealed by use of a gasket (6) and a cold-seal adhesive to bond a covering (7) without application of heat. The packaging container is useful in providing packaging for food products, medical products, surgical instruments and may be used to provide a sterile packaging container.
CONTAINER AND DISPENSER
A container device and methods of operation and assembly of the same are provided. The container device is formed from a foldable material and includes interior locking mechanisms that prevent an inner box from being removed from an outer cover unless a user depresses a portion of the outer box to disengage an internal locking mechanism. A secondary locking mechanism prevents the inner box from being removed entirely from the outer cover.
RECYCLABLE PACKAGE FOR DISPOSABLE WIPES
The present disclosure is related to packages for disposable wipes. The packages comprise a dispensing fitment formed of a first polymer composition comprising polyethylene and a flexible package body formed of a second polymer composition comprising polyethylene. The first and second polymer composition may be the same or different.
CONTAINER
A container having three pairs of parallel sides; wherein one pair of sides is formed from side panels that comprise a sheet of honeycomb polypropylene with a sheet formed from polypropylene joined to one side of the honeycomb; and at least one pair of sides is formed from elongate sections formed from expanded polypropylene.
Polyethylene Film Having Multi-Layer Structure and Packaging Material Produced Using the Same
Provided is a polyethylene film having a multi-layer structure including an outer layer (A) including a first ethylene polymer having a density M1 of 0.935?M1?0.968; an intermediate layer (B) including a second ethylene polymer having a density M2 of 0.900?M2?0.920; and an inner layer (C) including a third ethylene polymer having a density M3 of 0.850?M3?0.905, wherein the outer layer (A), the intermediate layer (B), and the inner layer (C) are sequentially laminated to form the polyethylene film comprising the multi-layer structure, and wherein a falling ball impact strength per unit thickness and a puncture strength per unit thickness of the polyethylene film comprising the multi-layer structure are 3.0 to 15.0 g/?m and 0.2 to 0.4 N/?m, respectively, and a difference in melting point between the outer layer (A) and the inner layer (C) is 30 to 100? C.
HIGH BARRIER COLD SEAL LAMINATE AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A packaging structure and methods of manufacture are provided herein. The packaging structure comprises a first film layer comprising an outer surface and an inner surface. An in layer comprising titanium dioxide is disposed on the inner surface of the first film layer. An oxygen barrier coating is disposed adjacent the ink layer. A second film layer adhesively joined to the oxygen barrier coating wherein the second film layer metalized polyethylene. A cold seal adhesive is applied to the second film layer opposite the oxygen barrier coating.
Protective wrapping for a cylindrical object
The present disclosure relates to a protective wrapping for a cylindrical object, comprising: an essentially square plastic film sheet, having a length exceeding the length of the circumference of the cylindrical object to be wrapped and a width exceeding the width of the cylindrical object to be wrapped, and having an inner face and an outer face referring to the orientation of the film when wrapped; the plastic film sheet comprising two foamed plastic strips arranged on the inner or outer face thereof, the strips arranged essentially parallel in the length direction of the plastic film sheet, at a distance from each other such that the foamed plastic strips can cover and protect the edges of the cylindrical object when wrapped. The present disclosure further relates to the use of the protective wrapping for wrapping a cylindrical object, particularly a reel of plastic film for baling applications.
Embossed paper in combination with paper cushioning for shipping envelopes
According to some illustrative embodiments, a protective product is provided that includes: at least one expandable slit paper sheet, said at least on expandable slit paper being expanded between opposing ends of said slit paper; a first embossed paper sheet facing said expanded slit paper sheet and a second paper sheet facing an opposite side of said at least one expanded slit paper sheet, at least one of said first embossed paper sheet and said second paper sheet being fixed to said expanded slit paper sheet at the opposing ends of said expanded slit paper sheet and thereby maintaining said expanded paper in its expanded state, said first embossed paper sheet having a plurality of embossings that increase the rigidity of said embossed paper sheet, whereby inhibiting deformation of said embossed paper sheet that is fixed to said expanded slit sheet paper.
