Article carrier and blank therefor

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a package, a carrier (90) for packaging one or more articles (B, B1, B2) and a blank (10; 110; 210; 310A, 310B) for forming the carrier. The package comprises an article carrier and one or more articles. The carrier comprises a main panel (14) having at least two article retention structures for receiving and securing the main panel to a respective article. Each of the at least two article retention structures comprises a center. The center C of the at least two article retention structures is spaced apart from the center of an adjacent one of the at least two article retention structures by a distance. The distance is greater than the maximum diameter of each of the at least two articles.

Carrier For Containers

A carrier for holding multiple containers may include an upper carrier portion having several carrier sections. Each carrier section may include an attachment panel that at least partially defines multiple container openings for at least partially receiving respective containers and may include container retention tabs foldably connected to the attachment panel and extending into the container openings for at least partially engaging the containers. A handle panel may be foldably connected to each attachment panel. The carrier may further include a lower tray portion having panels that extend at least partially around an interior of the lower tray portion, including a bottom panel, at least one end panel, and at least one side panel. The interior of the lower tray portion may at least partially receive the containers, and each carrier section may be separably connected to at least one side panel of the lower tray portion.

Carrier for containers

A carrier for holding a plurality of containers includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carrier, the plurality of panels including a plurality of side panels and at least one bottom panel foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels, locking features in the at least one bottom panel for at least partially maintaining a formed configuration of the carrier, and a plurality of system engagement features for at least partially receiving a portion of an outer container, each system engagement feature having a plurality of lines of weakening defining a plurality of separably connected sections in the at least one bottom panel.

CONTAINER CARRIER

A container carrier for unitizing a plurality of containers including a plurality of outer bands and inner bands forming an array of container receiving apertures arranged in two or more transverse pairs. Each outer band of the plurality of outer bands forms a convex container engaging portion of each container receiving aperture. A central grasping aperture is positioned between each transverse pair of container receiving apertures and includes opposite radiused ends and a central expanded opening. A stress relief cutout is positioned along each inner band between each container receiving aperture and each central grasping aperture.

Article carrier and blank therefor

Aspects of the disclosure relate to an article carrier (90; 290; 490) for packaging one or more articles and to a blank (10; 110; 210; 310; 410) for forming the carrier. The carrier comprises a main panel (12; 112; 212, 222; 312, 322A, 322B; 412, 422A, 422B) including an article retention structure (RT; RT1, RT2) having an article receiving opening defined in part by at least a pair of opposing engaging tabs (40, 42; 140, 142; 240, 242, 246, 248; 340, 342, 346, 348; 440, 442, 446, 448) each having a length (L1, L2) greater than a half of the distance (L3) between their hinged connections (13A, 41; 213, 215, 241, 247, 249; 313, 315, 341, 347, 349; 413, 415, 441, 447, 449) to the main panel (12; 112; 212, 222; 312, 322A, 322B; 412, 422A, 422B).

A multiple bottle carrier of cardboard or the like cellulosic material has a center portion and two lateral portions which are orthogonally arranged with respect to the center portion and originate from a basis of the center portion. Each lateral portion has one or more holes, each of which is surrounded by a crown of adjacent separate tabs, whose folding upwards permits insertion of a neck of a respective bottle that is prevented from coming out of the hole. Each lateral portion has a longitudinal folding line which is intermediate between the basis of the center portion and a distal side of the lateral portion. A median aperture has an upper portion extending through the center portion and lower portions extending through a proximal part of each lateral portion. The upper portion of the median aperture allows insertion of hand fingers of a user.
