ARTICLE CARRIERS AND BLANKS THEREFOR

Aspects of the disclosure relate to article carriers (90; 190) for forming a package and blanks (10; 110) for forming the article carriers (90; 190). The blank (10; 110) comprises at least one panel (12; 112) having at least one article engaging structure (RT1, RT2). The at least one article engaging structure (RT1, RT2) comprises an article receiving aperture (AP1, AP2) and an annular series of tabs (14, 30; 114, 114 A) formed around the article receiving aperture (AP1, AP2). The annular series of tabs (14, 30; 114, 114A) is defined at least in part by plurality of radial cut lines (15, 31; 115, 131). The annular series of tabs (14, 30; 114, 114A) is defined at least in part by plurality of circumferential cut lines (9, 11; 109, 111). At least a first one (31, 131) of the radial cut lines extends to a corresponding circumferential cut line (9, 109) and at least a second one (15; 115) of the radial cut lines stops short of a respective circumferential cut line (9, 109).

MATERIAL BLANK FOR A CONTAINER SUPPORT, BUNDLE OF MULTIPLE CONTAINERS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BUNDLE OF MULTIPLE CONTAINERS
20230406591 · 2023-12-21 ·

A material blank for attaching to a container group formed of multiple assembled containers, in particular so as to form a bundle. The blank has a connection section with multiple container receiving openings for arranging on the containers of the container group. In order to provide for an inexpensive production of a stable bundle, the material blank has a first folding tab, which adjoins the connection section at a first edge of the connection section, and a second folding tab, which adjoins the connection section at a second edge of the connection section opposite the first edge. The first and second folding tabs are designed and connected to the connection section such that the two folding tabs can be pivoted relative to the connection section into a bundle position in which the folding tabs overlap at least in some sections and cover an upper face of the connection section.

CARRYING DEVICE FOR BEVERAGE CANS
20210086971 · 2021-03-25 ·

The invention relates to a carrying device for beverage cans which allows the manual carrying of beverage cans grouped together in the form of a pack, which device comprises a body devoid of side walls, having on its surface at least one opening defining a contour with proportions which allow the tight passage therethrough of a beverage can, the contour of said opening having a plurality of tabs that can be folded or bent in relation to the body itself and extending into the same opening, said tabs having a distribution according to at least one sequence, said sequence comprising two contiguous tabs followed by a gap followed by another tab followed by another gap.

Magnetic Nanoparticles for use in Assisted Reproduction

The present invention relates to a method of preparing magnetic oocytes and/or embryos by means of nanoparticles for assisted reproduction techniques and to the use in assisted reproduction techniques of non-human oocytes and/or embryos prepared with said method. Said method comprises: a step in which magnetic nanoparticles are conjugated with oviduct recombinant protein, OVGP1r; a step in which it is verified that the nanoparticle-OVGP1r conjugation attaches to the ZP of oocytes/embryos after being incubated together; and a step in which the number of oocytes/embryos having nanoparticles attached to them distributed around the ZP without being endocytosed is verified; and it is assessed if the amount of magnetic nanoparticles attached to the ZP of oocytes/embryos is enough to be attracted by a magnetic field.

MULTIPACK PACKAGING RINGS FOR BEVERAGE CANS
20210061502 · 2021-03-04 ·

Multipack packaging rings for holding a plurality of beverage cans of a type haying a upper portions formed into circular necks of reduced diameter which seal to lids around circumferential seams. The rings are formed from a foldable sheet material having in a first panel a first set of circular apertures with inwardly directed tabs. In use of the rings the tabs engage under the circular necks. In an adjoining second panel a second set of substantially smooth edged circular apertures correspond in layout to the first set so that when the second panel is folded over along a line between the panels apertures of said second set correspond in position to those of the first set and the second panel overlies and reinforces the first panel.
