Mouthfeel enhancing composition
This disclosure provides novel compositions comprising a compound of Formula I. These compositions are useful for improving mouthfeel properties of non-nutritive sweeteners, such as steviol glycosides and blends thereof, in food and beverages containing the same.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF PROMOTING CELLULAR HYDRATION
A beverage composition promotes cellular hydration when ingested by a multicellular organism, and includes a carbohydrate clathrate component that includes cyclodextrin, in a concentration of 0.01-5% w/w. A complex-forming compound is also included in a concentration that is less than the clathrate component, and there is an aqueous liquid component, such as still and carbonated aqueous liquids. An inclusion complex is formed with at least some of the clathrate component and at least some of the complex-forming compound and the composition promotes cellular hydration of the multicellular organism when the multicellular organism ingests it. There is also a beverage composition that increases lifespan in the multicellular organism, and methods of promoting cellular hydration and increasing lifespan of the multicellular organism according to a mechanism of action.

Apparatus for filling a vessel with a filling product
An apparatus for filling a vessel with a multicomponent filling product includes a filler having at least one filling unit set up to introduce the filling product into the vessel, and a filler tank set up for intermediate buffering of the filling product and in fluid connection with the filling unit via a product conduit to supply the filling unit with the filling product; and a mixer set up to blend the filling product from at least two filling product components, wherein the mixer has a circulation conduit; and the mixer has at least one dosage branch set up to introduce one filling product component into the circulation conduit, wherein the mixer has a heat exchanger set up to adjust the temperature of the filling product in the circulation conduit.
Liquid composition comprising phycocyanin
A beverage comprising water, phycocyanin and having a heavy metals content below a threshold amount, the beverage having a pH within a certain range and a minimum acceptable shelf life, by optimizing the steps in the production of the beverage, but without adding many chemical substances and without carrying out harsh chemical treatment on the natural substances. By the combined use of a phycocyanin obtained, for example, by ultrafiltration or by treatment under pressure, with sterile demineralized water, and mixing the other components separately from the bacteria and other contaminants, in an aseptic environment, it is possible to provide a beverage that has nutraceutical effects, with low heavy metals content, at a suitable pH, and with an extended shelf life.

ROBUST FLAVOR EMULSIONS
An oil-in-water emulsion is disclosed. The oil-in-water emulsion contains an oil phase, an aqueous phase, and an emulsifier system. The emulsifier system can include modified starches such as octenyl succinic anhydride (OSA)-modified starch. The disclosed oil-in-water emulsions can include acidulants and can have a pH less than 5.0. Also disclosed are consumer products and methods of preparing the oil-in-water emulsion.
ROBUST FLAVOR EMULSIONS
An oil-in-water emulsion is disclosed. The oil-in-water emulsion contains an oil phase, an aqueous phase, and an emulsifier system. The emulsifier system can include modified starches such as octenyl succinic anhydride (OSA)-modified starch. The disclosed oil-in-water emulsions can include acidulants and can have a pH less than 5.0. Also disclosed are consumer products and methods of preparing the oil-in-water emulsion.
Protein Beverage Composition
The present disclosure provides a protein beverage composition for a sports drink that refreshing and hydrating whilst also providing the nutrients required to assist with muscle recovery and growth after exercise in the form of a whey protein isolate, as well as containing a nutrient mix specifically designed to combat the adverse effects of alcohol consumption on recovery. The nutrient mix contains iron in a from such as ferrous citrate, biotin vitamin B7, and a mix of electrolytes for keeping the drinker hydrated and nourished when used as a mixer or chaser for an alcoholic beverage. The composition can be provided in any number of flavours.
