Grip Enhancements For Tabbed Seal
Various enhancements of tabbed seals are provided herein with enhanced grasping functionality. Such enhancements include an anti-slip coating, a polymer adhesive layer, embossing, increasing the thickness of the tab, and/or increasing the overall surface area of the tab.
Container closure with vacuum-indicating pull tab
A package that includes a container and a container closure having a vacuum-indicating pull tab. The container includes a longitudinal axis extending therethrough, a mouth, and a sealing surface. The container closure includes a seal membrane sealingly and removably coupled to the container sealing surface to seal the container, and a pull tab configured to extend from the seal membrane. Manipulation of the pull tab provides an indication of the presence or absence of a vacuum in the package.
PACKAGE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A PACKAGE
The disclosure relates to a package having a package lower part for receiving a product and having a lid part attached to the package lower part for closing the package. The lid part includes a label and a carrier layer section, wherein the label adheres to the carrier layer section, and wherein the lid part is adhered to the package lower part by means of the label. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a method of manufacturing a package.
Package integrity indicating closure
A resealable closure for a container in which package integrity is indicated by a structure which connects the closure to a remaining portion of the container which must be broken in order to gain access to the contents of the container for a first time. The package integrity feature, in one form, includes a structure associated with the closure, wherein upon opening the closure for a first time, the structure stretches, increasing a length of the structure until the structure eventually breaks, leaving one or both residual ends of the broken structure rippled or curved upward from the remainder of the container. In one alternative form, the structure is associated with a pull tab of the sealing panel, which comprises the closure, whereby either the structure must be broken first, prior to pulling back the sealing panel, or while pulling back the sealing panel for a first time, the structure breaks, prior to gaining access to the contents therein. Advantageously, the package integrity feature is integrally formed with the closure and a remaining portion of the container. Integrity of the package is indicated by visually observing an intact breakable structure.
RECYCLABLE CONTAINER AND LIDDING CONSTRUCTION
The invention comprises a resealable, recyclable container structure comprising a polymeric rigid tray and a flexible polymeric film lidding. The tray has a bottom wall and at least one upwardly extending sidewall. The at least one sidewall terminates in a flange and the flange comprises at least one resealable zone and at least one permanently affixed zone. The lidding is permanently affixed to the flange in the permanently affixed zone and resealably affixed to the flange in the resealable zone. The polymeric rigid tray and the polymeric film comprise the same polymer.
Easy-peel laminated food can
An easy-peel laminated food can, comprising a can body (100) made by punching a laminated metal sheet, and a cover body (200) made of a laminating film. The can body (100) comprises a cavity (110) provided with an opening (112) and an annular bonding body (120) circumferentially arranged at the edge of the opening (112), and the cover body (200) and the annular bonding body (120) may be thermally pressed and bonded to be sealed.
Product Package
This disclosure provides a package for a product, including a capsule body configured to accommodate a predetermined amount of the product; a handle connected to one side of the capsule body; and a lid, wherein the capsule body is sealed with the lid. The capsule body, the handle, and the lid are made of an oxygen-proof, lightproof, moisture-proof, and sustainable material, e.g., aluminum. A modified atmosphere packaging technique is used during the packaging process to extend shelf life.
PRIMARY PACKAGE CONTAINING PERSONAL CARE ARTICLE
A personal care product comprising a primary package with a thermoform portion and a lidding film. The thermoform portion includes a peripheral flange and the lidding film is peelably sealed to the peripheral flange. The primary package can comprise a moisture vapor transmission rate of less than 0.25 g/m.sup.2/day. The thermoform portion is adapted to hold a solid personal care article and the primary package can protect the personal care article from compression.
MEMBRANE LID WITH INTEGRATED TWO-STAGE TAB SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a resealable membrane lid for a container comprising a peelable portion and a removable portion. When the resealable peelable portion is peeled back, the seal onto the container is not disturbed. When the removable portion is removed from the container, the container contents may be accessed. The peelable portion may be resealed onto the container at any point in the process.
Multiple compartment container assembly
Described herein is a multiple compartment container assembly which allows multiple distinct substances to be separately stored and/or consumed and/or dispensed. The separate compartments are accessed through apertures located at opposing ends of the container assembly, each aperture having a separate, leak resistant closure. A user may select which of the compartments to access by opening one or another of the closures.
