In a general example embodiment, a device for adding a scent to a fishing lure includes a body including an inner space configured to be isolated from an outside environment and a container for a scented liquid, an attachment mechanism configured to suspend the fishing lure within the inner space of the body, a heating mechanism configured to raise the temperature of the scented liquid to create steam, and a control unit configured to cause at least one of: (i) a pressurization mechanism to increase pressure within the inner space to cause the steam to add a scent to the fishing lure; or (ii) a charge to be applied to the fishing lure to cause the steam to add the scent to the fishing lure.

A bait cutting and crab measuring apparatus that combines a bait cutting device with a crab measuring device. The apparatus includes a bait-cutting channel and a crab-measuring panel. The bait-cutting channel includes first wall, a second wall, a base panel, a first plurality of segment cuts, and a second plurality of segment cuts. The crab-measuring panel can be used to visually and standardly measure various types and sizes of crabs. The first wall and the second wall can be used as a protective handle from the claws of crabs when measuring a crab with the crab-measuring panel. The base panel provides a platform for the bait that is placed inside the bait-cutting channel. The first plurality of segment cuts and the second plurality of segment cuts allow the user to cut the bait inside the bait cutting channel at an angle allowing the bait to spin when on a hook.

A multi-hook fishing lure for use with soft bait comprising two or more hooks positioned on the same end of a lure body. The hooks comprise a single point and a double point hook. The single point hook is integrally formed with the lure body and lure wire. The double point hook is secured to the lure body by connection with an eyelet formed on a terminal end of the lure wire. The opposing end of the lure wire on the opposite end of the lure body is configured with an eyelet for attaching to a fishing line. Soft bait is secured to both the single and double point hooks for a secure, compact connection allowing the soft bait to flow and move providing the appearance of live bait.
