The present application discloses a fishing bait cartridge that may contain fishing bait. A cartridge may be loaded with bait. Bait in the cartridge may be stored in individual cells. The cartridge allows for bait to be removed from a cell by a hook. A bait being removed from a cell allows for the bait to be installed on a hook without a fisher being required to touch the bait. The cartridge may be configured in size and shape to allow for the cartridge to fit within a fisher's pocket. The cartridge may be configured to work with a variety of bait types and containers.

A fish calling device for attracting predatory fishes by mimicking all sensory characteristics of a prey including appearance, sound and smell is disclosed. The device is configured to spray water into a waterbody around the device in a circular or a semi-circular pattern, thereby mimicking the appearance of a group of bait fishes. The water is sprayed to create the sound of a bait fish trying to escape from the predatory fishes when sprayed onto the waterbody. A scent bag is attached to the sprayer for dispersing/dispensing a smell through the water sprayer thereby mimicking the smell of a bait fish. Thus the device activates three senses of the predatory fishes including sight, hearing and smell for attracting them while fishing/competition.

The invention relates to a bait drive unit (1), in particular to be installed in a bait fish (100, 110), and to a bait fish (100, 110) having a bait drive unit (1). The object of the invention is to provide a bait drive unit (1) which, situated in a bait fish (100, 110), imitates even more effectively the movements of a sick bait fish (100, 110) and thus promises an even higher yield when fishing. A further object of the invention is to provide a bait fish (100, 110) having such a bait drive unit (1). The object is achieved, inter alia, by a bait drive unit (1), in particular to be installed in a bait fish (100, 110), having an energy store (2), an electromotive drive device (3) and a shaft actuatable via the electromotive drive device (3), in that the shaft (4) is curved in such a way that, when projecting into a plane, the curvature of the shaft (4) does not undergo any change in the sign.

A device for macerating bait, making chum, or both is provided. The device has a main housing having a top openable end and a closed bottom openable end; a removable lid attachable to the top openable end, wherein the removable lid comprises at least a fluid flow hole configured to, when placed in a fluid and towed behind the vessel, port the fluid to flow through the housing through bottom openable end and through the top openable end; a push rod disposed through the removable lid; a concentric cutting member attached to the push rod at a lower end of the push rod, wherein the concentric cutting member comprises a series of blades that are intersecting and have cutting edges on a top and bottom of the blades.

A fishing bait forming assembly and method for facilitating baiting gelatinous bait includes a housing enclosing an interior space and having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The housing is elongated from a first end to a second end, and the first and second ends are open. A bait form is mounted to the housing and compresses a portion of the gelatinous bait to form a compacted bait mass. A hook slot extends through the first end of the housing and through the exterior surface and the interior surface of the housing.

A fishing bait forming assembly and method for facilitating baiting gelatinous bait includes a housing enclosing an interior space and having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The housing is elongated from a first end to a second end, and the first and second ends are open. A bait form is mounted to the housing and compresses a portion of the gelatinous bait to form a compacted bait mass. A hook slot extends through the first end of the housing and through the exterior surface and the interior surface of the housing.

A lure storage device having a compartment portion defining an internal space, the internal space adapted to at least partially accommodate a lure, a cover portion hingedly attached to the compartment portion, the cover portion movable relative to the compartment portion between a closed position in which the cover portion abuts and substantially closes access to the internal space internal of the compartment portion, and an open position in which the internal space is accessible, and a catchment portion attached to one of the compartment portion or the cover portion, the catchment portion movable between an unlocked condition in which the compartment portion and the cover portion can move between the open position and the closed position, and a secured condition in the closed position in which the catchment portion is releasably attached to the other of the compartment portion or the cover portion and retains the compartment portion and the cover portion in the closed position. In the closed position, the compartment portion and the cover portion define a recess adapted to accommodate a fishing line attached to the lure.

A portable fishing bait case is disclosed herein. The portable fishing bait case includes a housing, a bait screen and a bait dispenser. The bait screen is located within an interior of the housing between a top section and a bottom section of the interior. Once bait is poured into the top section of the interior, the bait is filtered through the bait screen, being separated from bedding material and filtering into the bottom section of the interior. The filtered bait is then selectively dispensed by a user via the bait dispenser.

A portable fishing bait case is disclosed herein. The portable fishing bait case includes a housing, a bait screen and a bait dispenser. The bait screen is located within an interior of the housing between a top section and a bottom section of the interior. Once bait is poured into the top section of the interior, the bait is filtered through the bait screen, being separated from bedding material and filtering into the bottom section of the interior. The filtered bait is then selectively dispensed by a user via the bait dispenser.
