Dispensing Device
A dispensing device for dispensing dry bait includes a first tube that comprises a top, a bottom and a wall. The top is open and the bottom is closed. The wall extends from the bottom to the top defining an interior space. An opening is positioned in the wall proximate to the bottom. A closure is coupled to the wall and is positioned to reversibly cover the opening. A partition is positioned in the interior space and coupled to the wall proximate to a lower edge of the opening. The device comprises a plug that is complementary to the top. The top is configured such that items are insertable into the interior space. The plug is insertable into the top to contain the items. The closure is positioned in the wall such that the items are accessible to a user through the opening.
FISHING CADDY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A fishing caddy system which generally includes a rod holder assembly having at least one rod holder which may be rotatable to different angles to suit the user. There are hooks in the rod holder assembly for receiving the fishing line and thereby preventing the wind from blowing the line around, resulting in faster detection of catches. The rod holder assembly can be mounted to a universal mounting receiver which can be placed on any stationary body. Cup holders and other accessories may also be mounted in proximity to the rod holder assembly using other universal mounting receivers. An accelerometer may also be included which detects vibrations caused by the fishing line against the hook, alerting the user via LEDs or a wireless alert sent to the user's wireless computing device, such as a smart phone.
AQUA OXUGEN ALERT
A live well oxygen and temperature level alert and control apparatus including a temperature sensor and oxygen sensor con figured to sense the temperature and oxygen level of a live well. The sensed signal is seat to a controlling and monitoring apparatus. The controlling and monitoring apparatus is linked to a heating or cooling control system of the live well. Further, the alert apparatus may be configured to control the supply of the fresh or salt replacement water to the live well by controlling a valve supplying such water. The controlling and monitoring apparatus is configured to alert a user about the oxygen and temperature level of the water inside the live-well and control these levels via a user interface. The further inventive aspects can be embodied in one or more of a display screen, a speaker, and an alarm for communicating oxygen and temperature level to a user.

Minnow container
A container for animals or objects in a liquid is disclosed. The container comprises a cylinder capped by two removable lids and a floating basket. When one of the lids is removed, the liquid may be drained and refreshed without either the basket or the contained animals or objects falling out. When the other lid is removed, the basket floats above the liquid and carries the animals or objects out of the liquid where they can be easily removed by a user. The container is useful to anglers who use live minnows as bait, but may be useful in several other applications.

berley container
A berley dispenser (8) has a berley storage volume (10) and a dispenser (42) that communicates the berley storage volume (10) with the outside environment via at least one flow path (44) wherein the dispenser (8) is selectively operable to cause at least one of opening of the at least one flow path (44), closing of the at least one flow path (44), and flow of berley along the at least one flow path (44) from the berley storage volume (10) to the outside environment.
Whey protein isolate hydrogels and their uses
A biodegradable hydrogel has been made based on high concentrations of whey protein isolate (WPI). WPI gels of different compositions were fabricated by thermally inducing gelation of high-concentration suspensions of protein, and characterized for compressive strength and modulus, hydration swelling and drying properties, mechanical behavior change due to polysaccharide additives, and intrinsic pore network structure. The gels were shown to be compatible with bone cells and could be used as bone tissue scaffolds. In addition, WPI fibers were produced by electrospinning. Several additives could be incorporated into the WPI gels, including structural additives, growth factors, amino acids, etc. The WPI hydrogels can be made with glycerol to increase flexibility and stability. The hydrogels could be used for tissue regeneration, food protection, controlled-release applications (including drug encapsulation, dietary supplement release, attractant release in lures, nutrient release to plants (fertilizers), column packing for compound separation, and membrane development.
Bait fish cutter
An apparatus for accurately cutting baitfish at a compound miter angle of forty five degrees. The apparatus automatically centers the bait fish within a transverse well at the bottom of a half pipe tube capable of accommodating various common bait fish sizes. The compound miter cut provided by this apparatus exactly matches the compound miter found within the construction of the Sure Spin Herring Helmet® Angler Innovations. The present apparatus is easily washable and leaves no trace of fish scent between uses as it is constructed from non-absorbing high density polyethylene (HPDE). The apparatus further provides safe usage as downward pressure is applied to the cutting tool and bait fish as the cutting tool blade enters the blade slot groove. The present apparatus is constructed with two half pipe options to accommodate multiple bait fish dimensions.
Electronic bait box assembly
An electronic bait box assembly for storing earthworms includes a box for containing earth and earthworms. A lid is removably attached to the box for closing the box. A voltage unit is coupled to the bait box and the voltage unit is in electrical communication with an interior of the box. Moreover, the voltage unit is placed in electrical communication with the earth that is positioned in the box. The voltage unit induces an electrical voltage through the earth when the voltage unit is turned on. In this way the voltage unit urges the earthworms to move upwardly in the earth thereby facilitating a user to remove the earthworms for fishing bait.
