PET System with Mechanical Movement of Rigid Detectors for Optimized Imaging
Described herein is a positron emission tomography (PET) detector array that has a plurality of detector elements, with each detector element mounted on a resilient, rigid support surface. A detector element movement system is connected to each rigid support surface, so that each detector element can be moved independently. This allows for the relative position of the individual detectors to be changed during imaging so that the imaging window can be increased or decreased during imaging, thereby allowing for improved, better resolution imaging of smaller volumes if desired.
INFANT FORMULA
Embodiments disclosed relate to a nutritional formula having non-fat milk powder, lactose, an oil blend, enriched whey protein concentrate, oligosaccharides, choline, arachidonic acid (ACA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), magnesium oxide, sodium citrate, lactoferrin, inositol, taurine, iron, L-carnitine, zinc, nucleotides, soy lecithin, pantothenic acid, copper, D-biotin, folic acid, lutein, manganese sulfate, iodine, Beta-carotene, and selenium, and to methods of delivering nutrition to a subject.
CONJUGATION OF PROTEINS TO POLYSACCHARIDES USING A PHOSPHATE BRIDGE
Conjugates of protein and polysaccharide linked by a phosphate bridge. The conjugates are made by reacting a protein with a polysaccharide in the presence of POCl.sub.3.
