Microwave Heating Construct
20170158409 · 2017-06-08 ·

Various blanks are provided for forming sleeves, containers, and other constructs for heating, browning, and/or crisping of a food item in a microwave oven, and for holding and/or transporting the food item after heating. The various blanks, sleeves, containers, and other constructs may include a removable portion defined by one or more lines of disruption that enable the removable portion to be separated from the remainder of the blank, sleeve, container, or other construct.

HIGH TEMPERATURE MICROWAVE SUSCEPTOR
20170150555 · 2017-05-25 ·

A food packaging includes a food product and a microwave susceptor for emitting infrared energy. The microwave susceptor has a susceptor plate including a non-conductive material and an electrically conductive component imparting electrical conductivity. The susceptor element has a resistance of 10 to 1000 Ohm/square, preferably 30 to 300 Ohm/square, and the susceptor plate is capable of withstanding a temperature above 400 C.

Package with enlarged base

A microwave heating construct may include a widened base. The construct may be erected by folding end panels of the construct towards one another and optionally securing the panels in the folded position. The construct may be formed from a blank. The construct and/or blank may include a removable portion at least partially defined by a line of disruption.

Packaging For Food Product
20170096256 · 2017-04-06 ·

A package for holding and protecting a food product. The package has a first tray with a first liner laminated to the first tray and a second tray with a second liner laminated to the second tray. The first liner and the second liner are sealed together to hold the package in a first position protecting the food contained therein from being damaged. The package can be converted to a second position wherein the first tray and the second tray are separated and the food product is removed.

Container With Liner
20250091757 · 2025-03-20 ·

A container for holding a food product. The container can comprise a base layer and a liner at least partially attached to an inner surface of the base layer, a flange comprising a central panel of the base layer, an opening extending in the central panel, and a sidewall comprising at least a panel foldably connected to the central panel along the opening.

Automatically Reconfigurable Microwave Interactive Material
20170043935 · 2017-02-16 ·

Packaging material includes microwave interactive material and is automatically reconfigurable for selectively controlling transmission of microwave energy through the packaging material. The packaging material is configured to vary, as a function of time, a ratio of microwave energy transmitted through the packaging material. The packaging material is configured so that the microwave energy is automatically selectively transmitted in different ratios.

Susceptor ink compositions for microwaveable packages

The present invention relates to a susceptor combination comprising: metallic particles; particles of at least two or more semiconductor materials; and one or more alkaline or alkaline earth metal salts; to a susceptor ink composition containing it. It also relates to a laminate comprising a dielectric substrate and the susceptor ink composition printed on the substrate, as well as a microwaveable package comprising the laminate.

Microwave popcorn bag
12459722 · 2025-11-04 · ·

A wick resistant microwavable popcorn arrangement formed substantially entirely of non-fluorocarbon material includes a folded bag defining a bag interior. The folded bag includes first and second opposite face panels joined by first and second opposite side gussets defined by gusset folds. The bag is folded to define a portion of the interior with side creases defined at junctures between the first face panel and the first and second opposite side gussets. One or more non-activated sealant fields are arranged to overlap at least one of the side creases or the gusset folds, and are configured to provide a liquid-resistant barrier. The one or more non-activated sealant fields are configured to retain the unpopped popcorn kernels, an oil component, and/or a fat component positioned within the bag interior between the first and second side gussets.

Blanks, constructs, and associated methods for induction heating of food products

A construct includes at least one panel for supporting a food product, the at least one panel formed from a laminate structure having a base layer, a conductive layer, and a surface film. The construct further includes at least one spacing feature extending downwardly from the at least one panel for supporting the at least one panel a distance above an induction source for attenuating heat transferred to the food product in response to an oscillating magnetic field interacting with the conductive layer of the laminate structure.
