Magazines for tactical medicine dispensers

Magazines that include a supporting member such as a strap, rod or chamber and one or preferably a plurality of portable medicament cases that each include a medicament provided in a package. Each case has first and second housing members that are configured to form a medicament package receiving cavity when joined together. The housing members mate together in a sealed configuration that prevents moisture or contaminants from entering into the cavity. The magazines are configured for containing a plurality of medicament cases for administration of medicaments to a group of people. Also included is a method of administering medications to mass casualties of multiple persons that are in need thereof. The medicaments are rapidly disintegratable and can include a dye that stains the person's mouth so that medical personnel can determine who has been treated with the medicament.

A shaker has an outer container and an inner container moveable inside the outer container. The outer container side wall has an opening through which a first portion of the inner container side wall can be grasped. A space between the outer container side wall and the inner container side wall accommodates an energy accumulator. The inner container, at rest, is pressed with the first portion of the inner container side wall against the opening in the outer container side wall by the energy accumulator and covers the opening. The inner container is movable, counter to the energy accumulator force, transversely relative to a longitudinal axis of the outer container into a displacement position. The inner container has a discharge opening which, when the inner container moves away from the rest position, is moved across a sieve provided in the dispensing opening of the outer container floor.

The bucket element is pivotal about a first pivot axis of rotation when the lever element is displaced. The candy-housing compartment receives and stores at least a candy therewithin deliverable thereto via the upper housing portion. The lever element is displaceable toward the lower housing portion for pivoting the bucket element about the first pivot axis of rotation for selectively dispensing the candy from the bucket element via the lower housing portion.

The dispenser assembly further includes a push-button assembly attacked to the insert, including a button that moves between first and second positions. The button has an orifice defined therein in communication with one of the first or second openings when in the first position and with the other of the first or second openings when in the second position, such that the button permits transmittal of product between the first and second openings when moved between the first and second positions.

The apparatus also has an upper housing, and the upper housing and lower housing can be squeezed together to cause the reservoir piece to move downwardly against the normal bias of the biasing element, so as to align the openings to arrive at a dispensing position.
