Provided herein is a machine for forming a container from a blank including a tray and a lid. The machine has an upstream end where the blank is loaded and a downstream end where the container is discharged and includes a frame, a pre-forming assembly, and a mandrel assembly. The pre-forming assembly is configured to partially form the lid and the tray by folding each of a plurality of side panels of the blank and further form the tray by partially folding a front panel assembly of the blank, the front panel assembly including a front panel and a roll-over panel. The mandrel assembly is mounted to the frame and configured to engage a bottom panel of the tray to form each of a plurality of corners of the tray and fold the roll-over panel to form a front wall of the container.

The present invention relates to a pizza box in the form of a blank for forming a pizza box with a rotary disc (6). According to the invention, the pizza box comprises a rotatable disc which is arranged in the box and on which a pizza can be placed, and an opening part (4) which is defined in the box by a perforation edge and by which a consumer can gain access to the disc (6). According to the invention, the opening part extends from a bottom to the cover of the box and the disc fits within the bottom of the box.

A takeaway box can include a main body with a lid. The lid can be configured to selectively move between an opened position and a closed position. The lid can include a lid panel, a tear panel, and an adhesive panel. The tear panel can be disposed between the lid panel and the adhesive panel. The adhesive panel can have an adhesive. The adhesive can be configured to affix the adhesive panel to a base panel of the takeaway box when the lid is in the closed position. A portion of the tear panel can be formed adjacent to the adhesive panel. The portion of the tear panel can be configured to be torn from the tear panel and the adhesive panel, thereby permitting the lid to be moved to the opened position when the adhesive panel is affixed to the base panel of the takeaway box.

A unique pizza box apparatus and methods of forming and using said pizza box are disclosed. The pizza box is formed with an additional plate pocket for receiving plates therein. The pocket is connected to an inside surface of the pizza box lid and expands a distance less than that of the depth of the pizza box. On the pizza box lid is a cut or perforated plate pocket lid with a living hinge on one end and a lid tab on a substantially opposite end for grabbing and rotatably opening the plate pocket lid with respect to the pizza box lid. A pizza bumper may further be included within the box to ensure separation between a base of the plate pocket and a pizza once the pizza is placed within the box. Napkins and/or further utensils may also be placed within the plate pocket if so desired.

Disposable three dimensional serving utensils that can be incorporated into a pizza box, a cake box or other container, via incised and scored blanks, from which disposable utensils, such as spatulas and knives, can be formed.

A heating container for foods has a common box of shape and size suitable for housing bakery products, formed by a base, a cover and lateral edges that mutually fit in a reversible manner to avoid the content outflow, including: an internal support layer, adapted to support a preheated plate at a predetermined distance from the base of the box; an air space between the base and the support layer adapted to absorb the pressures generated by the user while cutting the foods present on the plate; a preheated plate, providing a support surface for the foods, as a support for the cutting of the foods and as a heat source; and a ventilation system having holes on the cover and holes on the base, preventing condensation phenomena inside the box itself when the cover is closed.

A system for addition to a box for transporting hot food includes a first sheet composed of a first layer of nonstick aluminum and a second layer of parchment paper, wherein the second layer of the first sheet is configured for being removably coupled to an interior surface of a top portion of the box, a second sheet composed of a first layer of nonstick aluminum and a second layer of parchment paper, wherein the second layer of the second sheet is configured for being removably coupled to an interior surface of a bottom portion of the box, wherein the first sheet includes a plurality of orifices configured for allowing moisture to escape therethrough.

A locking device for a box includes a first panel defining a locking tab separable from the first panel and comprising a first tab subpanel and a second tab subpanel; the first tab subpanel extending from the first panel and the second tab subpanel extending from the first tab subpanel, the second tab subpanel including a neck and an ear, the ear extending from the neck in a lateral direction of the locking tab; and a second panel defining a locking opening, the locking opening sized to receive and capture the locking tab, the locking tab configured to engage an edge of the locking opening and thereby configured to prevent movement of the locking tab with respect to the locking opening in an opening direction of the locking device.

A pizza box blank includes a bottom panel, a top panel and a rear wall connecting the bottom panel to the top panel. The bottom panel includes first and second side walls. The blank includes first and second flaps connected to the first and second side walls, respectively, wherein upon assembly of the blank into a pizza box, the first and second flaps are positioned adjacent the top panel and extend toward one another.
