BEVERAGE HAVING FOAM RETENTIVITY AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING FOAM RETENTIVITY OF BEVERAGE
The present invention provides: a novel beverage having foam retentivity; and a method for improving foam retentivity. The present invention provides a beverage containing rebaudioside D and a compound represented by formula (1)(in the formula, R.sub.1 represents Xyl(1-2)Glc1-, and R.sub.2 represents Glc(1-2)[Glc(1-3)]Glc1-, Glc represents glucose, and Xyl represents xylose), wherein the sum of the content of rebaudioside D and the compound represented by formula (1) is 30-600 ppm, and the content of the compound represented by formula (1) in terms of mass is 0.5-95% of the aforementioned sum.

WATER PREPARATION SYSTEM
A system, apparatus and method are provided for preparing water for human consumption. Water from a public or other source is input to the system or apparatus and is filtered internal or external to the system/apparatus. A temperature adjustment may be applied, such as cooling or heating the water to a specific or approximate temperature. One or more water enhancements may be added to the water, in specified amounts or proportions. Enhancements potentially include flavoring agents, sweeteners, vitamins, nutrients, minerals, carbonation, and so on. A given combination of enhancements and corresponding amounts, and possibly other characteristics (e.g., the temperature, a quantity of water to prepare), may be saved as a recipe. The system, apparatus and method operate in association with an application or online service for creating, sharing, and preparing recipes.
COLD COFFEE BREWING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A coffee brewing system and method brew hot coffee at an elevated temperature by mixing coffee grounds with hot water, filtering the hot coffee to remove at least some of the coffee grounds from the hot coffee to form filtered hot coffee, and rapidly cooling the filtered hot coffee to reduce a temperature of the filtered hot coffee to form cooled coffee. The coffee optionally may be mixed with a gas, such as nitrogen, prior to serving the cooled coffee. The system and method can rapidly produce cold coffee in large amounts without diluting the coffee in water or ice, or waiting for the coffee to cool in a refrigerated environment.

A Beverage
A method of producing tea syrup comprises contacting a plant material and/or plant extract with hot water to produce a tea. The method comprises filtering the tea to produce a tea filtrate, adding sugar to the tea filtrate, and then reducing the pH of either the tea or the tea filtrate, and thereby producing a tea syrup.

PURPLE CORN NECTAR CONTAINING ANTHOCYANINS METHODS FOR MAKING AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
The present invention relates among other things to a method for making enzymatically produced purple corn nectar having a composition comprising saccharides and. anthocyanins. The anthocyanin composition is present in concentrations of at least 40 mg/100 g of nectar and is a direct result of the process of making the corn nectar from the purple corn kernels and does not constitute an exogenous addition to the purple corn nectar.
Plant based beverages, and methods for preparation thereof
The present invention provides a method for preparing a plant derived beverage product or process intermediate, the method including the steps of: providing a crushed or liquefied extract of a plant material, exposing the extract to a size exclusion purification means involving membrane filtration (such as nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis or cross flow filtration) to provide a beverage product or a process intermediate thereof, wherein the purification means is capable of at least partially separating an undesirable component, from a desirable component. The purification methods may be applied to plant materials to selectively remove various components, while leaving others. This allows for the preparation of custom plant extract beverages.
