The present invention provides a resilient and tough, but flexible protective cover that hugs and squeezes various types of moving items without the need for any external securing means such as tape, rope, straps, large rubber bands, plastic, etc. The protective cover prevents damage to items that might occur during the course of moving. It eliminates, among other types of damage, scuffs, scrapes, dents, and scratches that could happen when items are being moved. While the protective cover is “hugging” the items, it also keeps items with moving components such as desks, dressers, cabinets, and appliances, in place by preventing shifting or movement of the moving components.

Cross-brace assembly and method of assembling and use

A cross-brace assembly for a package for a household appliance and method of assembling are provided. The cross-brace assembly can include a holder having a body having opposing first and second sides. The body includes first and second inner tabs that include first and second apertures, respectively. A first outer tab projects from the first side of the body, adjacent to the first inner tab, and a second outer tab projects from the second side of the body, adjacent to the second inner tab. A brace having opposing first and second ends can be received within the first and second apertures such that the first end of the brace is disposed adjacent the first outer tab and the second end of the brace is disposed adjacent the second outer tab to retain the brace relative to the holder.

Wrap around container

A wrap around container for holding an electronic device has a substantially rectangular panel comprising a device receiving portion at one end of the panel, a fixing portion at the opposite end of the panel, and a wrap around portion in between. A pair of flaps extend from opposite sides of the device receiving portion of the panel, each side being on a respective longitudinal edge of the rectangular panel. Each flap is arranged to be folded into a closed position where the flap is over at least a part of the device receiving portion and an upper surface of a device when placed on the device receiving portion. The wrap around portion is arranged to wrap at least over the flaps in the closed position and the fixing portion is arranged to be fixed to an outside of the container after wrapping of the wrap around portion to close the container. Foam means extend over at least part of the device receiving portion and onto the surface of each flap facing the device receiving portion when in the closed position so as to form a foam barrier between a device placed on the device receiving portion and the device receiving portion and the closed flaps. The foam means are attached to the device receiving portion and the two flaps and the foam means is configured to be peelable away from the container when the container is open.

Retention packaging assembly

A retention packaging assembly (100, 200, 300) includes an end retention frame (200) that retains one lateral side of an object (150) and another retention frame (300) that retains another lateral side of the object. Each of the retention frames includes a retention panel, an end panel (104, 106) foldably coupled to the retention panel, a set of wing panels configured to be folded into a folded configuration, and a sheet (208, 308) fixedly coupled to each of the wing panels. Each end retention frame retains a lateral side of the object between the sheet and the retention panel when the wing panels are in the folded configuration. In some cases, the end retention frames are laterally spaced away from each other such that they do not contact each other when they retain the lateral sides of the object.

Flat screen display device packaging system and method

A packaging system and method that can be used to protect a display device. The packaging system includes a front foam panel, a base foam panel and a back foam panel, and two different types of foam for the panels. The base foam panel supports the weight of the display device and absorbs vibrations. The front foam panel protects the screen of the display device by spreading loads over a wider area and reducing the risk of the screen cracking. A back foam panel is made of a lower density foam and supports the display device rear panel in position while taking up the different shapes of the rear panels and allows for variation in thicknesses between different models.

A bottom surface member of a container defines an xy plane, and a side surface member defines an xz plane and a yz plane. A protection member includes a receiving portion having a receiving surface parallel to the xz plane and a support portion integrally formed with the receiving portion. The receiving portion includes a first flat plate portion that includes the receiving surface and is parallel to the xz plane. The support portion includes a contact portion that is in contact with a side surface of the side surface member and a second flat plate portion parallel to the yz plane.

Shock pallet with adjustable anti-tip mechanism

A shock pallet assembly allows transport or movement of tall rack-mounted information handling systems (IHSes) without tipping. The shock pallet assembly can resiliently, manually or automatically retract for placement near a wall of a transport conveyance to achieve a greater shipping density of IHSes. The shock pallet assembly can include a bottom structure having a pair of parallel apertures to receive tines of a forklift. Resilient padding is positioned on a top surface of the bottom structure to provide shock dampening. A top deck is attached on top of the resilient padding and bottom structure to form a shock pallet that receives a racked-mounted IHS for transport and movement. An anti-tip mechanism can be attached to a lateral side of the shock pallet to prevent tipping of the rack-mounted IHS.

PANEL TRANSFER TRAY AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING TRAY USING THE SAME

A panel transfer tray according to an embodiment includes an accommodation part which accommodates a target panel, a protrusion protruding upward direction from an upper edge of the accommodation part, and a first movement prevention member disposed at one side of the accommodation part and disposed adjacent to the protrusion, and the first movement prevention member has a stair shape of which a planar area gradually decreases along the upward direction.
