TANK ASSEMBLY WITH LINER
A tank assembly for receiving liquids comprises a tank body. The tank body includes a tank wall defining an enclosed tank cavity. The tank body also includes a manhole lid attached to the tank wall and movable from a closed position covering a manhole in the tank body to an open position uncovering the manhole. A liner includes a flexible liner wall defining an enclosed liner cavity. An opening is formed in the liner wall to permit liquid to be introduced into the liner cavity. The liner also includes a fitting secured to the liner wall at the opening in the liner wall. A first end of a hose is attached to the fitting for conducting fluid to the liner cavity. A valve is attached to a second end of the hose. The valve and the second end of the hose are releasably attached to the manhole lid.
Container for storing liquids
A flexible container for the storage of liquid, where a liquid medium to some extent or completely surrounds the flexible container, characterized in that the base of the flexible container proceeds in the manner of a cone to a discharge point at which liquid can be discharged from the flexible container.
Fluidizing system for liner-bags transporting dry solid bulk commodities in shipping container
A dry bulk commodities cargo fluidizing system which is substantially flat and foldable for use in shipping container liner-bags used for transporting bulk commodities and may be built into or secured to liner-bags. The system is composed of a first floor layer and a second floor layer which covers the first floor layer. The first and second floor layers are thermally joined together about woven plastic mesh to form connected chambers for receiving deliver of fluid evenly throughout the system with the second floor layer having multiple pinholes of various size and number density over its surface in relation to the fluid source to the system. The plastic mesh strips between the first and second floor layers create fluid flow bridges for fluid flow even when bulk commodities cargo is loaded onto the second floor layer and is pressing the second floor layer against the first floor layer.
Fuel tank with internal bladder and method
A fuel tank for a generator or the like, wherein the fuel tank includes a rigid outer fuel tank structure and an inner bladder. The outer fuel tank structure includes a longitudinal channel for receiving the inner bladder. End caps are disposed on either end of the outer fuel tank structure, so that the internal bladder may be pulled therein with cables or the like. When the internal bladder needs to be replaced due to damage or corrosion, the end caps are removed and cables may be attached to one end of the damaged internal bladder for pulling it from the outer fuel tank structure. Additionally, a replacement bladder may be attached via cables to the other end of the damaged bladder, so that the replacement bladder is pulled into one end of the outer fuel tank structure while the damaged bladder is being pulled out the other end thereof.
Impact Resistant Liquid Bladders
A bladder having a fluid impermeable material layer that is compatible with a liquid held in the bladder and at least one impact protection layer that is conformally arranged to span a surface area of the liquid impermeable material.
MODIFIED END FACE PANEL FOR A FLEXIBLE INSERT FOR A CONTAINER AND TENSIONING METHOD
Safe transport of bulk materials is assured by a lashing system that suspends a flexible end face panel adjacent to rear doors of a shipping container, and that restrains the end face panel during loading and subsequent transport, so that the adjacent container door may be opened and closed without difficulty. The lashing may for instance be done by threading a strap through a ring in a central part of the panel and several cargo rings in the corners of a door opening of the container, and after tightening the strap, the strap is secured by passing a clasp through two holes in the strap that are aligned when under the desired tension. A triangular shaped strap may be sewn into the panel with a ring at the apex as an embodiment.
SECURING OF SHEET MATERIAL WHICH IS IN THE FORM OF A LINER, A COVER OR A CURTAIN
A mounting is disclosed for securing in place a sheet (56) which constitutes a liner, cover or curtain. The sheet has an elongate attachment zone (60) which is thicker than the material of the sheet. The mounting including a clip (10.2) which is formed with an elongate hollow portion (12) having a longitudinal slit (14) along the length thereof. The attachment zone of the sheet is in the hollow portion of the clip with the sheet emerging from the clip through the slit. A cord (62) is connected to a lashing point (64). The clip (10.2) has a passageway (40) through which the cord (62) passes thereby to attach the clip and the attachment zone to the lashing point.
FLEXIBLE CONTAINER LINER WRINGING DEVICE
A liner wringing device (10) is disclosed for use with a container liner. The wringing device includes a housing (30) with an internal cavity which houses the mechanical components of the wringing device. The housing defines a central liner compression channel (40). The internal components include a bottom support plate (42) with a central opening 43 aligned along the central channel. The wringing device also includes a drive assembly (44) formed by four elastomeric rollers (45) positioned so that the peripheral contact surfaces (50) are aligned generally tangentially with the central channel. The four rollers are each mounted to a drive shaft/axle which includes bevel gears which are meshed so that all four rollers rotate in simultaneous, synchronic rotation through the actuation of a pneumatic air gear motor (57).
For storage of surfactant concentrate solution
To minimize headspace in a storage container and thereby reduce or eliminate alcohol evaporation, concentrated surfactant solutions stabilized by a diluent of higher volatility than the surfactant, such as alcohol, are stored in a flexible bladder fabricated from fabric including an impermeable or semipermeable membrane, such as polyurethane coated fabric. Because the bladder automatically deflates as the fluid level decreases, minimal head space is maintained and evaporation of the alcohol is thus constrained. A rigid support structure may be employed to hold the flexible bladder. With such a storage system, concentrated surfactant solutions may be manufactured at a convenient location for transport to and storage near an injection well, with considerable time between manufacture and application allowed before the surfactant solution degrades by an unacceptable amount.
Movable reusable containment structure for flexible fluid containment vessel
A movable reusable frame-like structure for supporting, containing and protecting a flexible fluid containment vessel for use in hydraulic fracturing operations to store fluids, said structure having a base frame carrying plural vertical supports, the plural vertical supports interconnected by plural support straps to define a volume above the base frame carrying a secondary containment, and a flexible fluid containment vessel within the secondary containment.
