CONVEYOR BELT WITH ARTICULATED LINKS PROVIDED WITH ROLLING BALLS
A conveyor belt includes a plurality of modules arranged in succession and articulated with each other. First and second projections of the modules have mating profiles to allow the insertion of a connecting pin between adjacent modules. Each module includes housings for respective rolling balls projecting through a respective circular opening. The ratio between the diameter of at least one circumferential portion of the housing and the diameter of the respective rolling ball is between 0.8 and 0.6, while at least part of a rib is provided below, near the lower surface, with at least one respective projecting portion arranged for snap-fit insertion of the rolling ball into the respective housing seat.
Cross-Conveyor Sorter with Clearing Apparatus, and Method for Removing Items Misplaced on a Cross-Conveyor Sorter
A cross-conveyor sorter with a clearing apparatus for removing misplaced items (S.sub.d) is described, wherein the cross-conveyor sorter has a plurality of carriages which are connected to one another on an endless conveying track, the carriages are provided with a cross-conveyor device, which is oriented transversely to the transportation direction (x) and on which the items (S.sub.p) can be transported and unloaded at predetermined unloading locations. The cross-conveyor sorter clearing apparatus enables the risk-free removal of misplaced items (S.sub.d) during operation. The clearing apparatus is a blow-off device which is arranged on a first side alongside the conveying track.
Transverse-Belt Sorter Having a Control Device
A control device for activating a transverse belt (8) of a conveying carriage (6) of a transverse-belt sorter (2), wherein a transverse-belt conveyor (4) for conveying an article in a transverse conveying direction, which is oriented substantially transversely to the conveying direction of the transverse-belt sorter (2), is formed on the conveying carriage (6), and wherein the transverse belt (8) can be driven mechanically, wherein the control device is configured so that, when the article is introduced laterally onto the transverse belt (8), it activates the transverse belt (8) such that the article is transported to a conveying position on the transverse belt (8) or, when the article is discharged laterally, it activates the transverse belt (8) such that the article is transported in the downward direction from a conveying position on the transverse belt (8); and wherein, when the article is introduced and/or discharged laterally, the control device activates the transverse belt (8) at least in dependence on a mass of the article.
SORTING INSTALLATION, LATCHING APPARATUS AND TRANSPORT UNIT
A sorting installation, in particular for transporting and/or sorting items to be conveyed, includes a transport path, a stator arranged adjacent to the transport path and a transport unit configured to move on the transport path in a movement direction. The transport unit includes a conveyor element for loading and/or unloading an item, and a conveyor rotor for driving the conveyor element. The conveyor rotor includes a permanent magnet and interacts electromagnetically with the stator for rotation about an axis of rotation. A latching apparatus applies a detent torque on the conveyor rotor, when the conveyor rotor interacts electromagnetically with the latching apparatus.
Torque transmission device for a crossbelt-sorter-cart
A torque transmission device (1) is provided for a crossbelt-sorter-cart (200) comprising a crossbelt (210). The torque transmission device (1) comprises a rotatable drive end (10) configured to be coupled to a drive (13, 120) for driving the crossbelt (210) of the crossbelt-sorter-cart (200). A rotatable crossbelt end (20) is configured to be coupled to the crossbelt (210) of the crossbelt-sorter-cart (200). An unrotatable support (30) is configured to be fixed to the crossbelt-sorter-cart (200). A coupling (40) connects the drive end (10) to the crossbelt end (20) at the support (30). The coupling (40) allows a transmission of a drive torque originating from the rotating drive end (10) to the crossbelt end (20) and inhibits a belt torque originating from the rotating crossbelt end (20).
CONVEYOR DEVICE WITH AT LEAST TWO CONVEYOR CARRIAGES AND A POWERTRAIN BRAKE FOR A CROSS BELT CONVEYOR ON AT LEAST ONE OF THE CONVEYOR CARRIAGES
The invention relates to a conveyor device with at least one first and second conveyor carriage which are arranged one behind the other in the conveyor direction (F), a cross belt conveyor which is formed on at least the second conveyor carriage for conveying material to be conveyed in a cross conveyor direction (Q) oriented substantially transversely to the conveyor direction (F), and a powertrain brake for the cross belt conveyor. An operating device is arranged on the first conveyor carriage and a brake device is arranged on the second conveyor carriage. The brake device assumes the release state when the first and second conveyor carriage are traveling in a substantially straight manner, and the brake device assumes the brake state when at least one of the conveyor carriages is cornering in order to allow a movement of a cross belt of the cross belt conveyor in a cross conveyor direction (Q) when traveling in a straight manner and brake the movement when cornering.
