Sorting Vehicle and Sorting Machine
A sorting vehicle is provided that includes a wire harness structure and at least two vehicle bodies. The at least two vehicle bodies are pivotally connected to one another in sequence, the wire harness structure is connected to the two adjacent vehicle bodies, and the wire harness structure includes an elastic deformation portion located at a junction of the two adjacent vehicle bodies.
Dual-layer linear cross belt sorting system
A dual-layer linear cross belt sorting system is provided, including a package supply table, a sorting loop, a platform, sliding chutes and a scanning device. The sorting loop is of a closed-loop and dual-layer linear conveying structure in a vertical direction, and the sorting loop includes sorting trolleys connected along a single queue, two sets of dual-layer rails formed by connecting bent rails located at two ends and straight rails located at upper and lower layers to each other by an internal welding, a driving component and a tensioning component. The driving component and the tensioning component constitute a transmission structure of the sorting loop and are located at two ends of the sorting loop respectively.
Item-sorting facility comprising a system for detecting and analysing the path of the items and sorting method
Facility for sorting items comprising: at least one conveyor comprising supports designed to support the items, and at least one receiving device, the supports being designed to eject at least some of the items in succession into or onto the receiving device, the ejected items describing true paths (Tr) with respect to the receiving device, the true paths being liable to belong to a predefined set (Tr-Out) of potential paths considered as being incorrect. The facility further comprises: a detector designed to supply primary information relating respectively to true paths, and an analyzer designed to use the said primary information and to produce at least one secondary information item representative of the belonging of at least one of the true paths to the predefined set (Tr-Out).
Cross-belt system and automated item diversion
A sorting method, cross-belt system, and computer-storage media are provided for conveying and sorting items. The cross-belt system includes a plurality of interlocking palettes that form a conveyor belt. Each palette may be engaged by a series of rollers that are triggered to discharge items on the palettes to appropriate loading areas. The rollers are configured to move a belt of the palettes in one of at least two directions to a selected loading area that is positioned on either side of the cross-belt system.
Article diverting conveyor belt
An article-diverting modular conveyor belt employs a transverse article diverter comprising rollers. The rollers are formed in a transverse diverting belt wrapped around a module or embedded in the module. The rollers can be activated by contact, motorization or linear induction.
SORTING MACHINE
Described is a sorting machine comprising: a plurality of carriages (2), each carriage (2) comprising a loading-unloading device (3) which can be selectively activated for loading-unloading an object (0) from the carriage (2) and an electronic unit (4) configured to receive and analyse a loading-unloading signal and actuate the loading-unloading device (3) as a function of an operating mode, selected from a plurality of operating modes and uniquely associated with the loading-unloading signal; a plurality of loading stations (9) and a plurality of unloading stations (10) positioned along a sorting direction (X) comprising respective actuating units (11) configured to generate the loading-unloading signal.
Each carriage (2) comprises a permanent magnet (4c) which generates a stationary magnetic field and each actuating unit (11) comprises a Hall effect transducer (12) configured to detect the presence of the stationary magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet (4c).
Fully validated material handling with shuttle container delivery system
A material handling system reduces or eliminates human interaction with articles sorted and deposited into an order container to maintain validation and integrity of the order. Validated articles are inducted onto a sortation conveyor that selectively dispenses or deposits each article at a destination into a container. A shuttle vehicle moves along a first side of row of such containers to replace an empty container in place of any container that holds a completed order and moves the latter onto a transport conveyor.
Article sorting and conveying apparatus and sorting-conveying system
The present disclosure discloses are an article sorting and conveying apparatus and an article sorting and conveying system. The article sorting and conveying apparatus comprises a conveying assembly, an article carrying assembly, and a driving assembly. The conveying assembly is configured to move circularly; and the article carrying assembly comprises a conveyor belt, the conveyor belt being arranged on the conveying assembly and configured to be driven by the conveying assembly to move in a first direction. The driving assembly comprises a driving source and a driving member, the driving source being in non-contact driving connection with the driving member, the driving member being mounted to the article carrying assembly; and the driving assembly being configured to drive the conveyor belt to move in a second direction.
Conveyor cartridge
A conveyor cartridge that is removably coupled to a conveyor frame is provided. The conveyor cartridge comprises a cartridge frame, conveyor rollers, and a belt. The cartridge frame comprises a first side plate and an opposite second side plate, extended portions, and arcuate sloped surfaces. The first and second side plates delimit a direction of the conveyor cartridge transverse to a transport direction. Each extended portion is formed on a top surface of one of the first or second side plates and extends outward beyond the corresponding one of the first side plate and the second side plate in the direction transverse to the transport direction. The arcuate sloped surfaces are integrally formed on opposite end portions of the extended portions. The arcuate sloped surfaces are downwardly bowed on the opposite end portions to define a curved head portion and a curved tail portion for the extended portions.
Functional trays for handling products in a materials handling facility
A conveyor system is provided including a conveyor and a plurality of functional trays that are removably attachable to the conveyor. Each tray includes a plate having first and second dimensions that are orthogonal to each other, and the plate includes a coupler configured to be removably attached to the conveyor with the second dimension of the plate being in parallel with a moving direction of the conveyor. The plurality of functional trays include one or more of an envelope-opening mechanism, an item-pushing mechanism, an envelope-closing mechanism, an item-wrapping mechanism, and a tray-height-adjustment mechanism. For example, the item-pushing mechanism includes a pusher slidably coupled to the plate, and a linear actuator configured to move the pusher relative to the plate along the first dimension so as to push an item off the functional tray.
