Device and method for conveying containers
A container guiding device has a railing with two guide elements that are spaced from one another, that extend in the transport direction of a container transport device, and that guide containers or packages. At least one guide element can be adjusted transversely to the transport direction relative to the other guide element by an adjusting device. The adjusting device has a drive body which can be rotated about a rotational axis and a coupling element which is connected to the at least one guide element and to the drive body such that a rotation of the drive body produces a translation of the coupling element transversely to the transport direction. The drive body has a control element which is in engagement with the coupling element and which runs in a spiral shape about the rotational axis of the drive body, at least along some sections.
Extendible Fences for Extendible Conveyors
Extendible fences for extendible conveyors are disclosed. An example conveyor includes a fence assembly having a plurality of channel segments including at least a base channel segment, an intermediate channel segment, and a distal channel segment. The fence assembly is adjustable in a lengthwise direction such that the fence assembly is longer in the lengthwise direction when a main conveyor assembly is in a fully extended configuration than when the main conveyor assembly is in a fully retracted configuration. The intermediate channel segment is interposed between the base channel segment and the distal channel segment with respect to the lengthwise direction. Each channel segment of the plurality of channel segments includes sidewalls extending upward from a bottom panel. The intermediate channel segment to move in translation in the lengthwise direction relative to an intermediate conveyor section. The bottom panel of the intermediate channel segment is positioned between an upper portion of a conveyor belt of the main conveyor assembly and an upper load bearing surface of the intermediate conveyor section. The upper portion of the conveyor belt being interposed between the sidewalls with reference to a lateral direction, where the lateral direction is horizontal and perpendicular to the lengthwise direction.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LATERALLY GUIDING CONTAINERS
A container-guiding apparatus for guiding containers along an arcuate path includes a concave guide-region and a guide belt that forms a resting region for containers to laterally guide containers along the path. The guide belt, which is driven to endlessly circulate, applies feed forces to the containers to force them along the transport direction.
Conductive Ultrahigh Molecular Weight Polyethylene Compositions
Thermally or electrically conductive high molecular weight polyethylene compositions are disclosed. The polymer compositions can contain thermally conductive particulate material, such as boron nitride. Alternatively or in addition, the polymer composition may contain a thermally and electrically conductive material, such as an ionic liquid or graphite particles.
Luggage loading system
A system for loading articles into a container is provided, comprising a platform unit and an elevator unit configured to adjust its elevation relative to the container and a platform unit comprising an opening facing the container and defining an edge of the platform unit, a transfer arrangement comprising a plurality of parallel independent transfer members defining a receiving surface and extending along a loading direction transverse to the edge and configured to move of the others, and a positioning arrangement to orient the article to a loading orientation on the receiving surface and position it at a predetermined loading position along an axis perpendicular to the loading direction. The transfer arrangement is configured to extend a subset of the transfer members in the loading direction through the opening, thereby facilitating placement of the article at a predetermined location within the container.
Method and device for separating sawn timber packs into main yield and side cuttings
In a method for separating a sawn timber pack obtained from one trunk into main yield and side cuttings using a separating conveyor, the sawn timber pack is conveyed in a longitudinal direction via an underside transport device of the separating conveyor. While the single- or multi-piece main yield is supported by the transport device, one or more side boards are separated transverse to the conveying direction using gravitational force and/or external forces, whereby lateral retaining elements are briefly opened for release. In order to be able to process trunks with as large a diameter range as possible, the side boards located on opposing sides of the sawn wood pack are separated in two successive separating stages, whereby the lateral retaining elements of the separating conveyor are opened on one side on a respective release side in the successive separating stages.
Guiding device, in particular for transport guiding of containers
A guiding device for contacting and guiding objects and in particular containers with a contacting device which is suitable and intended for contacting an outside surface of the object to be guided by means of a contact surface, wherein this contacting device comprises a support extending along a predetermined extension direction. According to the invention, a plurality of contact elements is arranged on the support, wherein these contact elements are each rotatable relative to the extension direction of the support such that a spacing between at least a portion of the contact surface and the extension direction can be varied by means of this rotational motion.
Transport Device
A transport device includes a conveyor, a plurality of movable guide rails each of which is provided at a corresponding one of a plurality of locations along a lateral width direction, a drive shaft disposed to extend along the lateral width direction, and an actuator configured to drivingly rotate the drive shaft. A plurality of cam members are fixed to the drive shaft in respective fixing attitudes. Each movable guide rail of a plurality of movable guide rails is configured to be moved to change a height thereof depending on a fixing attitude of corresponding one of the cam members as the actuator drivingly rotates the drive shaft.
TRANSPORT SECTION, METHOD FOR ADJUSTING AND/OR READJUSTING AT LEAST ONE TRANSPORT TRACK WITHIN A TRANSPORT SECTION, AND PACKAGING FACILITY
The invention relates to device, method and packaging facility having a transport section (17) for feeding article arrangements (5) in a transport direction (TR) to a packaging module (18). The transport section (17) comprises a transfer plate (15), on which the articles (2) of the article arrangements (5) are movable in a sliding manner. Located above the transfer plate (15) are pushing devices (16) for moving the articles (2) on the transfer plate (15), with the pushing devices (16) being movable in transport direction (TR) at least in some areas. The transport section (17) furthermore comprises outer guide elements (20) and inner guide elements (21) disposed on the transfer plate (15), with the outer guide elements (20) laterally delimiting the transport section (17) and, with the inner guide elements (21) being readjustable by at least one readjustment mechanism that is disposed at least partly below the transfer plate (15).
