ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVEN TRANSPORTATION MECHANISMS FOR FRACTURING BLENDERS
In at least one embodiment, a system for electric-motor driven transportation mechanism for fracturing operations is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the system includes at least one transportation mechanism to transport blender components for a blender fluid from a first tub that may be a proppant hopper to a second tub that may be a blender tub and that may be associated with a fracturing blender; an electric motor and a control unit associated with the at least one transportation mechanism; and at least one variable frequency drive (VFD) associated with the electric motors for real time control of a speed associated with the at least one transportation mechanism.
Marker band locator system
A marker band locator system locates a marker band, from a plurality of marker bands in a hopper, into a band receiver for further processing. A hopper is configured to loosely hold a plurality of marker bands and a band receiver, configured in an indexer, is configured under the hopper such that marker bands gravity feed down to the band receiver. A vacuum source produces a vacuum on the band receiver and if a marker band is properly located therein, the marker band forms a seal with the band receiver and the vacuum pressure exceeds a threshold vacuum pressure level. The indexer then actuates to a secondary position for further processing and removal of the marker band. If the vacuum pressure does not exceed the threshold, a burst of air jostles the marker bands in the hopper until a marker band is seated properly.
Granular metering system
An additive feeder assembly includes a supply reservoir having an outlet and an outlet tube having a first end in fluid communication with the outlet and a second end located vertically higher than the supply reservoir. An air stream transports a first granular material discharged from the supply reservoir and into the first end of the outlet tube to the second end of the outlet tube. A granular material distributor is in fluid communication with the second end of the outlet tube. The granular material distributor has a top end configured for attachment to a feed supply for a second granular material, a central portion located vertically below the top end and configured to mix the first granular material and the second granular material, and a bottom end configured for vertically discharging the mixed first granular material and second granular material.

Feeder
A feeder is described for the conveyance of material such as overburden or mineral from a working site, the feeder comprising a feed device having a material receiving end having a material receiving apron suitable for receiving material such as overburden or mineral at a working site; a material discharge end distal of the material receiving end; an endless conveyor disposed between the material receiving apron and the discharge end so as in use to cause material received at the material receiving apron to be conveyed to the material discharge end; a chassis supporting the feed device; a transport carriage supporting the chassis and adapted to cause the feeder to be movable across a surface for deployment in use. A system A system and method for the movement of material from a working site for example via transport trucks are also described.
