AUTOMATED ITEM SORTATION AND CONTAINER HANDLING SYSTEMS
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for automated item sortation and container handling. In one embodiment, an example method may include determining, by a controller, a first item identifier of a first item at an induction portion of a sortation system, determining an order identifier associated with the first item identifier, and determining a first container associated with the order identifier. The method may include causing a first mobile carrier unit to receive the item, and causing the first mobile carrier unit to deliver the first item to the first container.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for automated item sortation and container handling. Double portable drive-over hopper
An apparatus includes a first transverse conveyor, first and second pairs of foldable parallel ramps, and first and second foldable longitudinal conveyors. The transverse conveyor moves material in a first direction. The first pair of foldable parallel ramps extend from a first side of the transverse conveyor. The first foldable longitudinal conveyor is positioned between the ramps of the first pair, and is configured to move material toward the transverse conveyor in a second orthogonal direction. The second pair of foldable parallel ramps extend from a second side of the transverse conveyor and are in alignment with the ramps of the first pair. The second foldable longitudinal conveyor is positioned between the ramps of the second pair and is configured to move material in a third direction that is substantially opposite the second direction.
Double portable drive-over hopper
An apparatus includes a first transverse conveyor, first and second pairs of foldable parallel ramps, and first and second foldable longitudinal conveyors. The transverse conveyor moves material in a first direction. The first pair of foldable parallel ramps extend from a first side of the transverse conveyor. The first foldable longitudinal conveyor is positioned between the ramps of the first pair, and is configured to move material toward the transverse conveyor in a second orthogonal direction. The second pair of foldable parallel ramps extend from a second side of the transverse conveyor and are in alignment with the ramps of the first pair. The second foldable longitudinal conveyor is positioned between the ramps of the second pair and is configured to move material in a third direction that is substantially opposite the second direction.
Merger extension chute and conveyor
A conveyor used with a harvester such as a wind rower has a chute at its discharge end with a deflection surface which controls the throw trajectory and thus the throw range of crop being cut. The orientation angle of the deflection surface relatively to the conveyor may be varied as a function of the particular crop throw characteristics to change the throw range of the conveyor as needed to form merged windrows of a particular crop while avoiding windrow widths which are too wide for efficient harvesting.
Merger Extension Chute and Conveyor
A conveyor used with a harvester such as a wind rower has a chute at its discharge end with a deflection surface which controls the throw trajectory and thus the throw range of crop being cut. The orientation angle of the deflection surface relatively to the conveyor may be varied as a function of the particular crop throw characteristics to change the throw range of the conveyor as needed to form merged windrows of a particular crop while avoiding windrow widths which are too wide for efficient harvesting.
Flexible hopper for a conveyor system
Some examples described herein include a flexible hopper for a conveyor system. The flexible hopper may include a hopper weldment attached to a frame of the conveyor, wherein the hopper weldment surrounds a charge end of the conveyor, a flexible connector that is attached to the hopper weldment and configured to enable an opening of the flexible hopper to expand or contract, and a flexible skirt that is folded over the flexible connector. The flexible skirt may include a plurality of flexible strips configured to form an enclosure between the flexible connector and the hopper weldment.
Portable drive-over conveyor system usable for unloading belly dump trucks with multiple discharges and for simultaneously unloading more than one truck
A portable drive-over conveyor is provided with a plurality of inlets and first and second conveyors so as to be arranged for simultaneously unloading multiple trucks side by side. Furthermore, the portable drive-over conveyor may be used in a system with another such drive-over conveyor in parallel to unload a truck having multiple discharges at each of the discharges by forming a bridge in between center structures of the drive-over conveyors allowing the truck to cross over the side by side drive-over conveyors and position the multiple discharges over the inlets of the side by side conveyors. Moreover, the second conveyor is swivably mountable on a frame of the drive-over conveyor such that particulate material is dischargeable at different locations angularly of a longitudinal axis of the trailer. The portable drive-over conveyor includes other novel features which are usable on a drive-over conveyor of the same type having at least one inlet.
