Can conveyors using various stator coil configurations to spread, gap, align, lane, reject, singulate, and rotate aluminum cans as they are propelled along the length of the conveyor. The electrically conductive cans acting as rotors form linear-induction motors (LIMs) with the stators to move the cans.

Inversion guide device and tofu production device

Cup-shaped container conveyance device

[Problem] To develop a device for diverting, to multiple conveyance paths, a plurality of cup-shaped containers conveyed in a single file on a manufacturing line, and consolidating a prescribed number of the containers as a group so as to be sequentially and continuously conveyed. [Solution] The method that has been found to be effective involves providing a plurality of adjacently arranged successive conveyance paths that branch out from a conveyance path of a conveyance device that continuously conveys cup-shaped containers having prescribed shapes in a single file, sequentially conveying the cup-shaped containers on the branch conveyance paths, stopping the movement of the cup-shaped containers and aligning the containers at the end point of the branch conveyance paths, consolidating the containers as a group at the end point in each of the conveyance paths, and transferring the cup-shaped containers to another conveyance path.

Angle adjustment mechanism for a conveyor bed

A conveyor bed is provided that can include a conveyor frame, a roller frame and an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism can include a first wheel movable on a first rail and a second wheel movable on a second rail. A sled can be coupled to a bottom face of the roller frame, where an inner face of the sled is in contact with the first wheel and the first rail and an outer face of the sled is in contact with the second wheel and the second rail. An actuable component coupled to the sled, wherein the actuable component is configured to move the sled back and forth linearly along the first rail using the first wheel in response to rotation of the actuable component, wherein a movement of the sled rotates the second wheel and pivots the second rail to alter an angle of the roller frame.

Handling snack food chips

An apparatus for handling three-dimensionally curved snack food chips. The apparatus includes a first conveyor for conveying a series of the snack food chips on a conveying surface and an inverting station located at an output end of the first conveyor. The inverting station includes an inverter configured for transferring the snack food chips from an output end of the first conveyor into contact with an internal concave surface of the inverter. A drive system for the inverter is configured to move the internal concave surface downwardly to cause movement of the snack food chips downward from an upper portion to a lower portion of the internal concave surface. A depositing station is located and configured for depositing the snack food chips from the lower portion of the internal concave surface onto a second conveyor configured for receiving snack food chips from the depositing station and conveying them away.
