System and method for automated sortation
System and method are provided where parcels or packages are associated or grouped, into logical group or logical containerization of parcels or packages, without need for physical container, such that parcels or packages can be tracked as a group, for example with a unique group ID. Logical group may be tracked within specified logical zone on conveyor, transported, sorted and/or otherwise processed as unique logical group without need to be contained in physical container. System and method for automated sortation can accumulate set number or set volume of packages, and then process the accumulated set number or volume of packages.
Production flow-rate measurement options for food process lines
A transfer conveyor for food process lines has an endless conveyor belt characterized by an upper, food-product carrying run and a lower, return run. The upper, food-product carrying run defines a transit plane. The upper, food-product carrying run also extends between an intake end and a discharge end. The upper, food-product carrying run furthermore has a first pleat below the transit plane proximate the intake end and a second spaced-away pleat below the transit plane proximate the discharge end. These spaced-away pleats partitioning the upper, food-product carrying run into an intake-end span and a discharge-end span cooperatively flanking a mid-span. Wherein the transfer conveyor additionally includes one scale servicing the intake-end span of the upper, food-product carrying run and another scale servicing the discharge-end span.
Operation of an active control roller top conveying assembly
A modular conveying assembly includes active roller control for reducing backline pressure without product to product contact when accumulating products. Methods are discussed for manipulating objects by a bump-through indexing operation, a slug-control indexing operation, a catch-and-release indexing operation, box or case turning operations, and zero-pressure accumulation operations.
CONVEYOR AXLE RETAINER
The present disclosure relates to an axle retainer and associated conveyor system. An example axle retainer is defined by a housing that includes a first surface configured to be secured to an inner-sidewall of a conveyor frame and a second surface opposite the first surface. The second surface defines two or more apertures configured to mount a conveyor roller axle therein. Each aperture includes a snap-fit bracket defining two arms each with a corresponding protrusion. The two arms of the snap-fit bracket are configured to expand from a first position to a second position within the aperture to receive a conveyor roller axle and rebut from the second position to the first position such that the pair of corresponding protrusions defined by the two arms of the snap-fit bracket retain the conveyor roller axle in the aperture.
Conveying member with roller mechanism
A conveying member for a conveyor includes a conveying element with a main surface, and a roller mechanism having a roller holder and at least one roller with a physical roller pivot. The roller holder can interact with an actuating device, is arranged on the conveying element and is designed such that the roller pivot is movable relative to the main surface of the conveying element between a first position and a second position. In the first and second positions of the roller pivot, the roller projects partly beyond the main surface of the conveying element. In the first position of the roller pivot, the roller assumes an arrested position in which rotation of the roller is arrested, and in the second position of the roller pivot, the roller assumes a freewheel position in which the roller rotates freely.
Conveying system
A conveying system (100) is described, comprising: two axially spaced supporting frames (2, 3) extending substantially in parallel along the feed direction (F) of the conveying system (100); at least one plurality of driving elements (12) supported by said supporting frames (2, 3); at least one motor (9) for driving at least one portion of said plurality of driving elements (12); at least one transmission assembly for transferring the motion from said motor (9) to said at least one portion of the plurality of driving elements (12); a control system for controlling the driving of said plurality of driving elements (12); a power supply system for electrically supplying said control system and said at least one motor (9); said power supply system comprises at least one power supply board (7) designed to convert the mains voltage into at least one DC voltage;
characterized in that it comprises: at least one housing compartment (1) transversely extending between the two supporting frames (2, 3); said at least one housing compartment (1) being provided with at least one housing seat for accommodating said at least one power supply board (7) of said power supply system.
FILM FORMATION APPARATUS
In a vacuum chamber, there are first and second film formation regions, and a conveyance path having a projected shape on a vertical plane. The conveyance path has a continuous ring shape and passes through the first and second film formation regions. A substrate-holder conveyance mechanism has plural driving portions in contact with driven portions on the substrate holder and is configured to convey the substrate holder along the conveyance path such that the substrate holder remains horizontal. The driving portions convey a preceding substrate holder and a following substrate holder adjacent to each other through the respective film formation regions such that an end portion of an upstream side of a substrate holder at a downstream side in the moving direction and an end portion of a downstream side of a substrate holder at an upstream side in the moving direction are close to each other.

Logical group may be tracked within specified logical zone on conveyor, transported, sorted and/or otherwise processed as unique logical group without need to be contained in physical container. System and method for automated sortation can accumulate set number or set volume of packages, and then process the accumulated set number or volume of packages, including automatically closing a container filled with the packages.
Transporter having parallel and height-adjustable transporting devices
A device for transporting objects, such as containers, bottles, multipacks and packaged items, comprising a first transporting device having a first conveying speed, at least a second transporting device which is arranged in parallel to the first transporting device and has a second conveying speed, wherein the first and the at least one second transporting device form with each other a substantially closed transport surface and have the same conveying direction, and at least one lifting device, by which at least one of the transporting devices is height-adjustable so that at least a portion of a transport surface of the at least one transporting device can be raised and lowered above and/or below a transport surface of the other transporting device.
Method and apparatus for continuous substrate cassette loading
A method and apparatus for loading substrates in an inspection station is disclosed herein. In one embodiment a loading module is disclosed that includes a loading station for two or more substrate cassettes, a first lane comprising a first conveyor that is substantially aligned with one of the two or more substrate cassettes and a conveyor system, a second lane comprising a second conveyor that is substantially aligned with another of the two or more substrate cassettes and positioned in a spaced-apart relation relative to the first lane, and a lateral transfer module positioned between the first lane and the second lane that is adapted to move substrates from the second lane to the first lane.
