Vertical accumulation in a treatment line
Disclosed is an accumulation device, for accumulating products conveyed within an industrial treatment line, including a set of horizontal trays, arranged in a tray zone as a vertical stack, further including a manipulator, such as a robot, for transferring products between a substantially horizontal closed belt type conveyor and the uppermost tray of the bottom portion of the stack. The trays are movable in the vertical direction, at least in order to bring at a predetermined height the tray to be loaded or unloaded. Also disclosed is a corresponding conveying installation and method.
END-POINT DEVICE FOR A SORTING AND PICKING SYSTEM
A terminal device for a sorting and order-picking system, wherein the terminal device has at least one transport device having a charge side and a discharge side wherein on the charge side goods of a conveying means can be loaded and stored on the transport devices until the end of a loading cycle. The terminal device, can be integrated into existing sorting and picking systems without costly conversion measures and also enables the largest possible storage capacity for the goods, wherein at least the charge side of the transport device is lowered during the loading cycle from an upper position (H.sub.o) to a lower position (H.sub.u).

An article conveying equipment includes: a carrying apparatus, configured to carry one or more articles to be transported; a travelling apparatus, where the travelling apparatus includes at least two driving wheels located at the bottom of the travelling apparatus, the at least two driving wheels are configured to control the travelling apparatus to rotate in a first rotation direction; and a rotation supporting apparatus, which is located between the carrying apparatus and the travelling apparatus and connected to the carrying apparatus and the travelling apparatus respectively, where the rotation supporting apparatus is configured to rotate in a direction opposite to the first rotation direction when the travelling apparatus rotates in the first rotation direction.

A support portion includes: a first portion that is supported on a travel portion; a second portion that is coupled to a holding portion; and a damper portion that is provided between the first portion and the second portion. The damper portion includes: a guide portion that guides movement of the first portion relative to the second portion along a specific guiding direction; a link mechanism that is coupled to each of the first portion and the second portion, and that moves in conjunction with movement of the first portion relative to the second portion; and an elastic body. The elastic body is coupled to the link mechanism so as to dampen operation of the link mechanism.
CONVEYOR APPARATUS FOR PACKAGES AND ACCUMULATOR HAVING A CONVEYING APPARATUS
A conveying apparatus for advancing packages from an inlet station to an outlet station comprises an intermediate track between the inlet and outlet stations, an endless belt to engage the packages during advancement along at least the track; and a tensioning device to tension the endless belt. The tensioning device comprises a spring unit comprising first and second spring assemblies having first and second pre-loaded spring forces respectively, with the second spring force larger than the first spring force. The conveying apparatus is in a rest configuration in the absence of packages along the track and is in a loaded configuration with plural packages arranged along the track. The first spring assembly determines the spring force of the spring unit when the conveying apparatus is in the rest configuration and the second spring assembly determines the spring force of the spring unit when the conveying is in the loaded configuration.

A buffer table of a packaging system includes, at least two infeeds, at least two outfeeds, and a plurality of buffer lines supplied separately from each other, arranged between the infeed and the outfeed. Optimised use of the buffer table is achieved by the infeed supplying the respective package to one of the buffer lines depending on the level of completion of a package and by the outfeed removing the respective package from the respective buffer lines depending on the level of completion of the package.
