The treatment device adjoins the at least one container feed device. The container feed device comprises: an at least one-track infeed conveyor; a first group of a plurality of parallel first conveyors; a second group of a plurality of parallel second conveyors which are arranged so as to be parallel and adjoining the first group. The containers can be transferred from the second group to a mass flow conveyor transversely to the second direction, in the direction. The invention furthermore relates to a method for operating the thermal treatment device with the at least one container feed device.
Helical container conveyance systems
Systems, methods, and apparatuses are disclosed for helical container conveyance. In one embodiment, an example container conveyance system may include a set of rails having a first rail and a second rail, the set of rails configured to guide a container from an upright position at a first point along the set of rails to an inverted position at a second point along the set of rails. The system may include a drive mechanism configured to propel the container along the set of rails, and a conveyor disposed under a portion of the set of rails corresponding to the second point.
PARCEL SORTING APPARATUS WITH ROUTING MANIFOLD AND DIVERTER SYSTEM
An apparatus for sorting parcels is described comprising a transport surface configured to convey parcels between a first end and a second end thereof. An opening defined in the transport surface is dimensioned to receive one or more of the parcels therethrough. The transport surface comprises a plurality of surface segments having a selected geometry and surface characteristics for controlling speeds of the parcels as they are conveyed. The apparatus further comprises a routing manifold having a chute having an inlet registered with the opening, a plurality of outlets coupled to the inlet, and a first diverter system comprising one or more diverters disposed in the routing manifold and operable to selectively direct the received parcels toward any outlet of the plurality of outlets. The one or more diverters may be responsive to destination information associated with the individual parcels.
Gravity-driven flow rack assemblies
A method of transporting a vehicle engine wire harness from a component preparation location to a component pick location is provided. The method includes placing the vehicle engine wire harness on a hook of a component hanger. The component hanger with vehicle engine wire harness is directed along a supply track assembly through a heated enclosure to the component pick location at a vehicle assembly line.
COMPACT ALIGNMENT OF A FLOW
Disclosed is a conveyor device for conveying along a conveyor plane, in order to transform a wide flow of products into a downstream single-file flow, including an intake conveyor, suitable for conveying the wide flow, an output conveyor suitable for conveying the single-file flow, an acceleration conveyor positioned between the intake conveyor and the outlet conveyor and including a plurality of conveyor units with a speed gradient, and also including a guide for guiding the products transversely from the intake conveyor to the outlet conveyor and positioned downstream from the flow of products so that the products are moved against same under the effect of the consecutive conveyors. Also disclosed is a corresponding method.
TAPERING OF A CONVEYOR FLOW OF PIECE GOODS
A conveyor line arrangement for tapering a conveyor flow of piece goods includes a first section divided into at least a first partial conveyor flow and a second partial conveyor flow and to generate a height difference between the first partial conveyor flow and the second partial conveyor flow such that the first partial conveyor flow is arranged higher than the second partial conveyor flow at the end of the first section, and a second section is configured to take over piece goods from the first partial conveyor flow and the second partial conveyor flow of the first section, and wherein the conveyor line arrangement is configured to feed the first partial conveyor flow to the second partial conveyor flow by transferring piece goods from the first partial conveyor flow to piece goods of the second partial conveyor flow on the second section.
DEVICE FOR TRANSPORTING CONTAINERS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a device for transporting containers, having: at least one first conveyor belt whose transport surface encloses a first angle with a plane perpendicular to the direction of action of gravity, the first transport surface extending in the transverse direction, containers being transportable in a first or in a second direction that are opposite to each another and extend in the transverse direction; a main conveyor belt having a second transport surface, wherein, in a first region adjacent to the at least one first conveyor belt, the second transport surface encloses the first angle with the plane perpendicular to the direction of action of gravity and extends in the longitudinal direction, containers are transportable in a third or fourth direction that are opposite to each other and extend in the longitudinal direction, wherein the third and fourth directions are perpendicular to the first and second directions, respectively.
Thermal treatment device and method for operating the thermal treatment device
The invention relates to a thermal treatment device, such as a pasteurizer, cooler or heater, having at least one container feed device for feeding containers each to one mass flow conveyor comprised by the thermal treatment device.
Vertically adjustable sortation devices and systems
Devices and systems are provided for improved article sortation. An example sortation device includes a height adjustable frame and a sortation table movably attached to the height adjustable frame. The sortation table defines a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a body extending therebetween. The body defines a first surface that supports an article thereon where a location of the body between the first end and the second end pivotally attaches the sortation table with the height adjustable frame. The sortation device performs a tilt operation in which the sortation table rotates about the pivotal attachment between the second end and the height adjustable frame so as to convey the article supported by the sortation table. The height adjustable frame adjusts a vertical position of the sortation table so as to modify a vertical position at which the article is conveyed.
