XY table for a linear transport system
A linear transport system can have a carriage guide rail having a first and a second carriage, which are arranged in such a way that they can be moved independently of one another on the carriage guide. The XY table for this linear transport system can comprise a carrying structure and a first and a second linear guide, which are embodied with an angular offset relative to one another and each have a first and a second guide element, e.g., which can be moved relative to one another along a linear track. In one arrangement, the first guide elements of the first and second linear guides are connected to the carrying structure. The second guide element of the second linear guide can be connected to the first carriage and the second guide element of the second linear guide can be connected to the second carriage.
Device for transporting objects and conveying and weighing device provided with such transporting devices
Disclosed is an object transporting device for objects such as fruits or vegetables including a receptacle suitable for receiving at least one object, a support and a connecting mechanism for connecting the receptacle to the support in order to interlock them in longitudinal translation, permit a lateral tilting of the receptacle for the purpose of laterally discharging each object carried by the receptacle, and allow a displacement of the receptacle in vertical translation for the weighing of the receptacle and of the object which it carries. The connecting mechanism includes at least one ball interposed and imprisoned between at least one vertical bearing surface of the receptacle and at least one vertical bearing surface of the support in order to be able to roll without sliding on at least one of these vertical bearing surfaces. Also disclosed is a conveying and weighing device equipped with such transporting devices.
ASSEMBLY FOR HANDLING FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTS
An assembly for handling fruit and vegetable products, includes first containment units for fruit and vegetable products that can move along a first conveyance and/or control line. The assembly further includes second containment units for horticultural products that can move along a second conveyance and/or control line, which is laterally adjacent and proximate to the first line. The assembly includes a plurality of elements for transferring the horticultural products; such elements are distributed at least along a part of the first line and are selectively actuatable by an electronic management and control unit, for the transfer of each product from a first unit to a respective second unit in a portion chosen from a plurality of different portions of the first line, upon the occurrence of a predefined condition of mutual alignment between the horticultural product to be transferred, which is conveyed by the first unit, and a second unit.
Systems and methods for dynamic processing of objects
A method of processing objects is disclosed using a programmable motion device. The method includes the steps of acquiring an object from a plurality of mixed objects at an input area, perceiving identifying indicia in connection with the object, assigning an intermediate station to a destination location for the object responsive to the identifying indicia in connection with the object, and moving the acquired object toward the intermediate station.
Cart with tilt mechanism
A carrier includes a chassis that is configured to travel from a loading point to an unloading point and a tillable platform is mounted on the chassis. A resilient piston is connected between the chassis and the tillable platform, the piston configured to store energy when the platform is rotated from an unloading orientation to a loading orientation. The platform, when in the loading orientation, is configured to stably support one or more items that are loaded onto the platform at the loading point. A restraining mechanism is configured to maintain the platform in the loading orientation and a triggering mechanism is operable to release the restraining mechanism, releasing the stored energy of the piston to exert a restoring force to tilt the platform from the loading orientation to the unloading orientation.
Systems and methods for limiting induction of objects to one or more object processing systems
An induction system for filtering the induction of objects to an object processing system is disclosed. The induction system includes an evaluation means for evaluating at least one characteristic of an object, and a routing system for routing the object in one of a plurality of directions responsive to the evaluated characteristic, at least one of the plurality of directions leading to the object processing system.
Systems and methods for sorting and dispensing packages
A system for sorting and dispensing packages can include a flip gate assembly. The flip gate assembly can include a base, an inclined surface, one or more support legs extending from the base to the inclined surface, an actuator attached to the base, and a flip gate pivotably attached to the inclined surface. The flip gate can be configured to be actuated by the actuator between a retracted configuration, in which a top side of the flip gate is planar with a top surface of the inclined surface, and an extended configuration, in which the top side of the flip gate is disposed at an angle with respect to the top surface of the inclined surface.
Systems and methods for separating objects using conveyor transfer with one or more object processing systems
A distribution system is disclosed for use in an induction system with an object processing system. The distribution system provides distribution of dissimilar objects into one of a plurality of receiving units. The distribution system includes an urging system for urging an object on a conveyor from the conveyor to one of a plurality of adjacent receiving stations via a receiving chute, wherein each receiving station is lower than the conveyor.
CART WITH TILTABLE PLATFORM
A cart includes a chassis that is configured to travel over a track from a loading point to an unloading point; a swivel base supported by the chassis, configured to rotate substantially horizontally in a clockwise direction or an anti-clockwise direction; a tillable platform for carrying an item from the loading point to the unloading point; and a tilt mechanism mounted over the swivel base and configured to tilt the tillable platform between a loading position to an unloading position.
