Return belt tracking idler for conveyor belt system
09845200 · 2017-12-19 ·

A concave conveyor belt idler system for use on the return run of a conveyor belt system, the idler being configured to maintain alignment of the belt and inherently adjust any misalignment thereof occurring during operation of the system. The concave conveyor belt idler system includes an elongated support member extending transversely of a conveyor belt return run and supporting a plurality of idler roller modules positioned such that the roller modules along the anterior side of the support member define a cave shape for supporting the conveyor belt, with the outer lateral edges at a lower elevation than the central portion of the conveyor belt. In a conveyor belt system the concave conveyor belt idler of the disclosed technology is positioned between two planate idler systems, on the return run, so that the center roller of the concave idler is in or near the plane of the belt as it traverses the planate idler systems, with the remaining rollers of the concave idler positioned below this plane.

Dual conveyor for autonomous guided vehicle

A conveyor assembly is provided for use with a mobile vehicle. The conveyor assembly includes a conveyor module. The conveyor module includes a first roller assembly. The first roller assembly includes a first rotatable roller body and a second rotatable roller body. The first and second roller bodies are interconnected to each other in such a manner as to share a first rotational axis yet be at least substantially rotationally independent of each other, such that each of the first and second roller bodies can rotate without causing or interfering with rotation of the other of the first and second roller bodies.

INTEGRATED CONVEYOR MOTOR

A conveyor assembly includes a conveyor module including first and second roller bodies and a conveyor belt; a chassis; and a tensioning system. The tensioning system is operable to adjust the tension of the conveyor belt and includes a tensioning device selectively shiftably mounted to the chassis such that shifting of the tensioning system in the fore-aft direction along the chassis results in corresponding fore-aft shifting of the first roller body relative to the second roller body, thereby facilitating adjustment of the tension of the conveyor belt. The chassis includes a pair of side rails and a slider bed. A stiffening assembly includes a bracket spaced vertically below the slider bed such that a vertical gap is formed between the slider bed and the bracket. The stiffening assembly further includes an insert disposed on the bracket and extending upward across at least a portion of the gap.

A curved belt conveyor includes a conveyor belt with a hooking element associated with an outer periphery of the conveyor belt and multiple pairs of rollers guiding the hooking element. A plurality of supporting elements is placed at the outer periphery, each for supporting at least one pair of rollers. A holding space for the hooking element is defined among each pair of rollers and a corresponding supporting element. A main roller of one of the pairs of rollers is movable along a trajectory extending along a longitudinal development of a corresponding main roller shaft between a releasing position, wherein the rollers are spaced to define an intermediate space therebetween to allow the passage of the hooking element, and a retaining position, wherein the rollers are close to each other to prevent passage of the hooking element from the corresponding holding space through the corresponding intermediate space.

CONVEYOR SYSTEM, BELT TURN OVER SYSTEM AND DIRECTING ASSEMBLY THEREFOR, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF TURNING OVER A CONVEYOR BELT

A directing assembly of a belt turn over system is for use in a conveyor system. The conveyor system includes a conveyor belt and a plurality of support members. The conveyor belt is configured to move from a first location of the conveyor system to a second location thereof. The directing assembly includes a channel member structured to be coupled to at least one of the plurality of support members, and a plurality of directing members each removably coupled to the channel member and configured to be in a static state with respect to the channel member when the conveyor belt moves from the first location to the second location. The directing members are configured to engage the conveyor belt as the conveyor belt moves from the first location to the second location in order to turn over the conveyor belt.
