Method of loading a dunnage conversion machine and sheet stock material useful therein
A supply of stock material for a dunnage conversion machine includes two plies of sheet stock material wound into a roll or fan-folded into a stack. Each ply has disposed on a corresponding leading or trailing end thereof an adhesive layer and a removable release liner covering the adhesive layer. When applied to a leading end of the supply, the adhesive layer is applied to opposing, outwardly-facing surfaces of the respective plies. When a supply of stock material is almost spent, the operator removes the release liners from both plies to expose respective adhesive layers, and then interposes the leading end of a new supply between the plies of the trailing end of the almost-spent supply and presses the layers together to attach the plies of the new supply to respective plies of the almost-spent supply, for conversion into dunnage.
METHOD FOR PACKAGING PRODUCTS AND PACKAGING INSTALLATION
In a method for packaging products, the products are packaged with a packaging material on a packaging line. The packaging material is first of all drawn off a first packaging-material reel and fed to the packaging line. When the first packaging-material reel has been at least partially used up, an initial portion of a second packaging-material reel is made to overlap with a packaging-material portion already drawn off the first packaging-material reel and is joined to the latter packaging-material portion. After the two packaging-material portions have been joined together, the packaging material is drawn off from the second packaging-material reel and fed to the packaging line. The two above-mentioned packaging-material portions are joined together by a stamping operator of a stamping device. There is also described a packaging installation for carrying out the method.
Electrode Sheet Connection Method and Electrode Sheet
The present technology relates to a method for connecting electrode sheets in a roll-to-roll process, and the method includes: arranging a flexible connection sheet of a predetermined length between a first electrode sheet and a second electrode sheet; connecting the first electrode sheet to the flexible connection sheet by attaching one side of the first electrode sheet to one side of the flexible connection sheet using a first tape; and connecting the second electrode sheet to the flexible connection sheet by attaching one side of the second electrode sheet to the other side of the flexible connection sheet using a second tape.
Further, the present technology relates to an electrode sheet manufactured by manufactured by the method of connecting electrode sheets.
Electrode Connection Apparatus and Electrode Connection Automation Method Using the Same
The present invention relates to an electrode connection apparatus including a transfer unit configured to transfer a start portion of a standby electrode roll in a state of gripping the start portion, a leading unit configured to move upwards in a state of gripping the start portion of the standby electrode roll transferred by the transfer unit, a first connection unit configured to fix the standby electrode roll transferred by the leading unit, a second connection unit configured to fix an end portion of a moving electrode roll, and a taping unit configured to connect the standby electrode roll and the moving electrode roll to each other, whereby it is possible to automatically connect the electrode rolls to each other during an electrode manufacturing process performed as a roll-to-roll process.
Material web drawing-in apparatus
The invention relates to a material web drawing-in apparatus for drawing in a material web. The material web drawing-in apparatus comprises at least one material web holding device for holding the material web to be drawn in, and at least one guide for guiding the at least one material web holding device from a material web drawing-in point to a material web transfer point, and also at least one drawing-in drive which is in connection with the at least one material web holding device and which serves for displacing the at least one material web holding device along the at least one guide upon drawing in the material web to be drawn in in the direction of the material web transfer point.
Apparatus and method for combining tobacco sheets
The apparatus for combining tobacco sheets (3, 4) comprises a first shaft for carrying a first bobbin (30) of tobacco sheet (3) and a second shaft for carrying a second bobbin (40) of tobacco sheet (4).
