A method for feeding a production line of absorbent sanitary articles with a layer of a virgin multilayer tape including providing a head free end of the virgin multilayer tape partially unwound from a respective virgin spool; providing a tail free end of a multilayer tape in use; applying a first connecting element on a first layer of the virgin multilayer tape and on a first layer of the multilayer tape in use at the head free end and tail free end; applying a second connecting element on a second layer of the virgin multilayer tape and on a second layer of the multilayer tape in use at the head free end and tail free end; pulling the first layer of the virgin multilayer tape in a first direction; pulling the second layer of the virgin multilayer tape in a second direction.
Drug supply apparatus
A drug supply apparatus of the present disclosure includes a drug supply unit configured to supply a drug to a drug delivery position; a downstream conveying unit configured to convey a strip-shaped first drug packaging paper, folded in half in advance along its longitudinal direction and configured to receive a drug at the drug delivery position; and an upstream conveying unit configured to convey a strip-shaped second drug packaging paper, folded in half in advance along its longitudinal direction. In the apparatus, the upstream conveying unit conveys the second drug packaging paper toward the first drug packaging paper in such a way that the downstream end part of the second drug packaging paper holds in its inside the upstream end part of the first drug packaging paper, and the ridge line of the second drug packaging paper overlaps the ridge line of the first drug packaging paper.
Web splicer
An apparatus (100) for splicing a patterned web (108) is provided. The apparatus includes first and second unwind spindles (110, 114) engaging a new roll (112) of patterned web (108) and expiring roll (116) of patterned web, respectively, a first web indexing mechanism (104) capable of linearly translating the patterned web from the new roll (112) along its travel direction; a first clamp surface (129) that extends across the patterned web from the new roll; a second clamp surface (131) that extends across the patterned web from the expiring roll (116); and a cutting mechanism (132, 132) for severing the patterned web from the expiring roll (116). The apparatus further includes a second web indexing mechanism capable of linearly translating the patterned web from the expiring roll along its travel direction, wherein the first and second web indexing mechanisms are independently operable to align registration features of the patterned web on the new roll and expiring roll with each other. The first and second clamp surfaces can be brought together to create a registered splice of the patterned web between the new and expiring rolls.

Disclosed in the present application are an automatic roll replacing device, and winding equipment. The automatic roll replacing device includes: a mounting frame; an unwinding mechanism, including an unwinding shaft rotatably connected to the mounting frame around its own axis; a spare material mechanism, including a spare material shaft having a contact end and a material pushing member providing an axial pushing force for a spare material roll on the spare material shaft, the spare material shaft being rotatably connected to the mounting frame around the rotation axis, and the material pushing member being controlled to push the spare material roll on the spare material shaft to transfer to the unwinding shaft; and a strip connection mechanism, provided on the mounting frame, and used for cutting off a work material strip unwound from the unwinding shaft and connecting the cut-off work material strip to the spare material roll.

A sensor assembly configured to detect rolled stock on a core includes a sensor configured to detect a first roll of stock unwinding from a core, the stock unwinding from the core of the first roll is supplied as a web of stock, wherein in response to the sensor detecting a first detection configuration, the sensor takes no action and continues to detect the first roll, and wherein in response to the sensor detecting a second detection configuration, the sensor provides a command to a splice assembly to transition to a second roll of stock to replace the first roll of stock.
Method of splicing a multi-layered laminate material, spliced multi-layered laminate material and apparatus for splicing a multi-layered laminate material
The present invention relates to a method for splicing an upstream section and a downstream section of a multi-layered laminated sheet material wherein each section of the material comprises at least three layers each having first and second surfaces and wherein the at least three layers comprise first and second outer layers and at least one inner layer located between the first and second outer layers, comprising the steps of a) splicing together the upstream and downstream sections of both the first and second outer layers with a splicing material; b) removing the first outer layer from the multi-layered laminated sheet material to expose a surface of an inner layer; c) splicing the upstream and downstream sections of the exposed inner layer with a splicing material; and d) applying a replacement first outer layer to the exposed surface of the inner layer. A spliced multi-layered laminated sheet material produced according to the method is also provided. Also provided is an apparatus for splicing two sections of a multi-layered laminated sheet material wherein each section of the material comprises at least three layers each having first and second surfaces and wherein the at least three layers comprise two outer layers and at least one inner layer located between the two outer layers, the apparatus comprising: a first splicer configured to apply a splicing material to the two outer layers of the multi-layered laminated sheet material, a delaminator configured to remove a first outer layer, a second splicer located downstream of the delaminator configured to apply a splicing material to the exposed inner layer and an applicator located downstream of the second splicer configured to reapply an outer layer to the exposed inner layer.

The system includes a signal generator configured to generate a connection advance notice signal if the electrode includes a connecting portion corresponding to a cause event, a seam detector configured to detect a seam attached onto the electrode after the connection advance notice signal is generated, and a determination unit configured to, when the seam is detected within a predetermined distance from a first coordinate value of the electrode after the connection advance notice signal is generated, determine that a connection cause of an electrode connection by the seam corresponds to the cause event.
