PARACORD DISPENSER AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A cord dispenser includes a body having a body outer wall and an inner chamber. The inner chamber is operable to contain a length of cord, the cord having a first cord end. A retaining mechanism is rigidly affixed to the body outer wall of the dispenser. The retaining mechanism is sized to removably secure a light source. A first through-hole is disposed in the body through which the first cord end is operable to be extended and to be securely attached to the light source.
De-Coiling Cone
A system for dispensing weld wire comprises a container including walls and inside corners, a coil of weld wire within the container, and a de-coiling cone on the weld wire. The coil includes inner and outer circumferences, and the de-coiling cone includes an inner ring smaller than the inner circumference of the coil, an outer ring larger than the inner circumference and smaller than the outer circumference of the coil, and a plurality of legs extending radially outward from the inner ring to positions adjacent respective inside corners of the container. Each leg includes a first leg portion connecting the inner and outer rings, a second leg portion extending radially outwardly from the first leg portion, and a backwardly bent leg portion adjacent a corresponding inside corner of the container.
Barrel for Storing Conductors and Method of Use
A wire feeding barrel configured to reduce the risk of damage to the wire posed by a looping wire as the wire is pulled from the barrel and methods for using the same are disclosed herein. The wire feeding barrel may comprise an outer barrel for storing at least one wire and an extension member or attachment configured to extend from and/or be affixed at an opening of the outer barrel from which the wire is fed. The extension member or attachment may be configured to prevent the wire from looping as the wire is fed from the outer barrel. In some embodiments, the wire may include sequential footage markers configured to indicate a length of wire pulled from the wire feeding barrel and/or a length of wire remaining in the wire feeding barrel.
Expanded slit sheet void fill dispensing systems and methods
The present invention provides void fill dispenser systems and methods that highly effectively enable the easy and usable creation of void fill with expanded slit sheet paper in a manner unattainable in the existing art. According to some illustrative embodiments, a void fill dispenser is provided that advantageously dispenses unique void fill in a manner not previously possible. In some embodiments, the void fill dispenser is made with a recyclable material, such as, e.g., a corrugated box made from paper. In some embodiments, the void fill dispenser is made with metal and/or other rigid and/or non-recyclable materials. In some embodiments, the void fill dispenser can comprise an automated metal dispensing system that dispenses expanded slit sheet paper particularly for void fill in an automated manner.
DRUMS FOR TRANSPORTING AND FEEDING WIRE
A drum for transporting and feeding welding wire may comprise a hold-down bar opening. The hold-down bar opening enables access to and removal of a hold-down bar without requiring prior removal of an end surface of the drum or a drum lid. The drum may also comprise an access door. The access door enables access to the interior space of the drum when it is opened or removed from the first end surface. The access door allows for retrieval of a portion of a wire stored within the drum without need to remove an end surface of the drum or a drum lid.
