Drums for transporting and feeding wire
A drum for transporting and feeding welding wire may comprise a hold-down bar opening. The hold-down bar opening enables access to and removal of a hold-down bar without requiring prior removal of an end surface of the drum or a drum lid. The drum may also comprise an access door. The access door enables access to the interior space of the drum when it is opened or removed from the first end surface. The access door allows for retrieval of a portion of a wire stored within the drum without need to remove an end surface of the drum or a drum lid.
RAPID ROPE
A rope dispensing system for dispensing a continuous rope from a compressed rope cartridge. The device has a canister for storage of the rope cartridge, a resealable lid with a grommet for passing the rope through the lid, and a replaceable cutting mechanism for cutting the rope. Preferably the rope cartridge is shrink-wrapped to fit within case and keep rope from unraveling.

System and apparatus for wire and cable packaging and payoff
An apparatus for the transportation and payoff of coiled wire and cable, the apparatus comprising a clamshell package, an inner void formed by the clamshell package, the inner void comprising a compartment within for containing coiled wire and cable during transportation and payoff of the wire and cable, a payoff port is coupled to the clamshell package, wherein the coiled wire and cable is extracted from the clamshell package through the payoff port on an axis substantially similar to the axis of the extracted wire and cable, and wherein the payoff port extends from the clamshell package through the coiled wire and cable.
OPTICAL FIBER STORAGE METHOD, DELIVERY METHOD, AND OPTICAL FIBER WINDING BOBBIN
It is possible to wind an optical fiber up to the vicinity of an edge of a flange of a bobbin, and prevent a winding collapse of the optical fiber without increasing work steps. In a state in which the optical fiber coated with a coating resin is wound around the bobbin, a resin film that does not include a plasticizer is covered so as to be in direct contact with an outer circumference of the optical fiber, and the optical fiber is stored.
