Simple Triggering Tip-Up Device
A simple triggering tip-up device, for use with a conventional ice fishing rod and reel, includes a base, a rod holder, an indicator flag, and a trigger mechanism. The base provides a stable platform for the rod holder and indicator flag to be removably attached to one end and a U-shaped trigger mechanism is rotatably mounted at the other end. The trigger mechanism has a long leg on one end and a short leg on the opposite end. The long leg secures a fishing line being fed from a reel with an open bail while the short leg holds the indicator flag in the “set” position. The action of a fish pulling the line raises the legs of the trigger mechanism causing stored energy from the flag shaft to be released resulting in the release of both the indicator flag and the fishing line.
Although the present invention primarily relates to ice fishing it would not be unreasonable to apply this invention to open water fishing. Conventional open water fishing rods could be used with this device when set on a dock, in a boat, or on the shore line.

ROD HOLDER
A rod holder is mounted on an upright or a horizontal structure to hold a rod, such as a fishing rod. A latch is pivotally mounted on a base with a pivot pin. The rod is received in a latch aperture to pivot the latch closed. The rod is removed from the latch aperture to pivot the latch open. An arcuate slot in the base or the latch is centered about the pivot axis. A limit pin is received in the arcuate slot to stop the latch in the open and closed positions. A base magnet and a latch magnet follow arcuate paths of the same radius. The latch magnet will pass over the base magnet as the latch pivots. Like poles of the base magnet and the latch magnet repel one another to hold the latch open or closed.

Combination fishing pole holder and cleat
A combination fishing pole holder and cleat has a bezel portion for affixing to a surface. The bezel portion has a first hole for accepting an object and a shaped indentation to accept and fit a cleat portion. The bezel portion has a pair of studs, each having a cavity formed there within. The cleat portion is shaped to fit within the shaped indentation and has a second hole, also for accepting the object. A pair of legs extends from the cleat portion and through respective studs. Each of the legs is terminated by a device/end that is wider than the cavity of the studs. A tubular portion extends from a side of the bezel and is aligned with both the first hole and the second hole for insertion of the object. The cleat portion moves between a retracted position and an extended position.

Temporary mounting device
A temporary mounting device for temporarily mounting an article to a mounting support structure utilizes an elongated, curved main stem member having a length and being formed from a resilient material, the curved main stem member being curved lengthwise along the length. A mounting member extends from a distal portion of v-mount legs of a pair of v-mounts that are coupled to the main stem member and has an attachment element configured to attach the article thereto. A selectively releasable tension strap releasably secures the device to a mounting support structure.

Fishing Rod Holder
A portable, stowable, fishing rod holder includes a tripod with a pole rest at the top. An elongated support extends from the bottom of an aft leg of the tripod to a support foot. A tube, pivotally coupled to the support foot, receives the handle of a rod while the bent of the rod is held in the pole rest. A deck lock with a rotatable spring biased T-shaped anchor extends downwardly from the support foot. An anchor pin may be inserted through an aperture in the support foot.
