Independently rotatable flanges and attachable arbor hole adapters
A pair of flanges attachable to the arbor hole of a reel is disclosed. The flanges provide a mechanism to allow the reel to be easily loaded, and lifted into place. Once loaded into place, the flanges may include a locking mechanism that locks the reel in place, centered on the flanges. Additionally, the flanges are attachable using a hub that allows them to rotate independently from one another, and from the reel to which they are attached.
WINDING DEVICE AND PRINT WINDING SYSTEM
A winding device includes a winding shaft that rotates and winds a print medium conveyed from a printing device having a conveyance roller that conveys the print medium, a gear, and a motor driving the conveyance roller and the gear. The winding device also includes a power transfer mechanism to connect to the gear and transfer power to the motor, and a lever disposed between the winding shaft and the conveyance roller in a conveyance path in a configuration in which the winding device is connected to the printing device. The lever may be moved between a first position in which the print medium bends and a second position in which the print medium bends at a shallower angle than at the first position.

Reusable reel
A reel includes a first reel member and a second reel member. The first reel member includes a first barrel portion, a first flange portion, and a first hub portion, and the second reel member includes a second barrel portion, a second flange portion, and a second hub portion. The first barrel portion and the second barrel portion are configured to be coupled with one another. The first barrel portion includes an inner wall and an outer wall that are spaced apart from one another in a radial direction of the first barrel portion, and the first barrel portion, the first flange portion, and the first hub portion are portions of a first single piece structure of unitary construction.
FLOATING WATER MAT REEL
A floating water mat reel that has a plurality of plates mounted to an axle. A floating water mat is selectively connected to the plates. A crank, connected to the axle is used to rotate the plates so that the mat wraps around the plate.
EXPANDABLE WIDTH FILAMENT SPOOL
An expandable spool includes a first hub extending from a first flange and includes a first plurality of interlocking portions. A second hub extending from a second flange includes a second plurality of interlocking portions that is connectible to the first plurality of interlocking portions to define a spacing between the first flange and the second flange for holding material on the spool.
FLANGE STAND AND ADAPTER FOR FLANGES
A flange for use on a reel, a flange adapter, and a flange stand are provided. The flange may include an outer circumference, a hub assembly, and an arbor hole adapter that is adapted to engage an arbor hole to secure the flange to the reel. The arbor hole adapter may include an expandable portion that is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. First and second expansion plates may be coupled to the arbor hole adapter and connected by shoulder bolts that guide movement of the plates between an abutting configuration and a spaced-apart configuration, allowing movement of the expandable portion relative to the reel for modified engagement. The flange stand may include a base, a support portion, and a coupler for engaging a central extension of the flange to allow the flange to be supported in an upright position.
Reel Made from Separable Components
The disclosure concerns large reels used for transportation and storage of cables or wires. The present invention describes a separable cable reel which is constructed from component parts which may be quickly and easily disassembled and reassembled. The separable reel design has four primary components: a first flange, a second flange, a core, and a plurality of looped bands. The two flanges are coupled to the core and the band or bands are coupled between the two flanges.
The core is formed from a plurality of struts. The struts span between the flanges and are inserted into strut pockets on the inner sides of each flange. As the bands are placed in tensioned they pull the flanges toward each other, applying a compressive force to the core struts. When the user wishes to disassemble the reel they may remove the bands and pull apart the reel components. The separable reel may be transported disassembled. When desired the separable reel may be reassembled and reused.
Spool and bobbin storage and labeling disc
A bobbin insert includes a head, a stem extending from the head, and an attachment member connected to the stem. A system for storing or labeling a bobbin includes a bobbin having a first opening on a first end of the bobbin and a second opening on a second end of the bobbin opposite the first end. The bobbin further includes a through-hole extending from the first opening to the second opening. The system further includes an insert having a head, a stem extending from the head, and an attachment member connected to the stem. The stem is configured to be inserted into the through-hole through the first opening, and at least a portion of the attachment member is configured to extend out of the second opening. A method for storing or labeling a bobbin includes inserting a stem of an insert into a through-hole of the bobbin.
