Gluing device for gluing the tail of a log and related method
A gluing device including a guide roller to guide the tail of the log; on the guide roller, retaining elements to engage and retain the tail on the guide roller; a gluing member, to apply a glue to the tail retained on the guide roller. There are also provided embossing members, arranged and controlled to emboss a portion of the tail of the log. The gluing member applies the glue to embossing protrusions formed by the embossing members.

WIRE WINDING DEVICE AND WIRE WINDING METHOD
A wire winding device includes a lock jig including a pair of tip end portions configured to approach each other or separate from each other. A control portion of the wire winding device is configured to execute: a step of winding a wire onto a winding drum; and a step of making the lock jig sandwich a pulled-out part of the wire, inserting the lock jig into a clip, and opening the tip end portions of the lock jig against biasing force of the clip to open the clip.
Roll of dispensable sheet material
A roll (2) of dispensable sheet material (4), wherein the roll (2) has an inner bore (6), the dispensable sheet material (4) is such that it has a free end (8) which is difficult to find for manual dispensation of the dispensable sheet material (4) from the roll (2), the roll (2) comprises assist means (10) for assisting in the finding of the free end (8) of the dispensable sheet material (4), the assist means (10) comprises a device (12) which extends at least transversely over the width of the roll (2), and the device (12) is movable around the roll (2) such that the device (12) is locatable on the roll (2) at a place to receive an end portion (14) of the dispensable sheet material (4) which contains the free end (8), whereby the device (12) indicates the position of the free end (8) and thereby facilitates the manual dispensation of the dispensable sheet material (4) from the roll (2).

The present disclosure describes a cable reel. The cable reel may include a hollow core having a width; a first wall coupled to an end of the core and extending radially outward a distance from the core, the first wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core and at least one support member extending across the opening; and a second wall coupled to an opposing end of the core and extending radially outwardly a distance from the core, the second wall comprising an opening aligned with the hollow core; wherein the first wall and the second wall form a gap therebetween equal to the width of the core, the gap being configured to hold a length of excess cable wrapped around the core. Substrate case and substrate accommodation apparatus
A substrate case includes a shaft portion around which a sheet-shaped substrate having a circuit area in which a circuit manufacturing process is performed is wound; and a cover portion that accommodates the substrate in the state of being wound around the shaft portion, the shaft portion having a holding portion that holds an area different from the circuit area at a winding start portion of the substrate.
Cable carrying case
A cable carrying case, in one embodiment, includes a first halve and a second halve that are coupled together by a fastener. The first and second halves pivot between an open and a closed position around the fastener. The cable carrying case has a releasable support member that is configured to support the weight of a spool of cable. The spool of cable may rotate about the support member to dispense the cable from within the case through a slot.

A lead wire storage mechanism stores most of a lead wire such that the lead wire can be taken out from a tip end portion. A lead wire grasping and moving mechanism can execute a grasping operation for grasping a tip end portion of the lead wire with a grasping part, and a grasping part moving operation for moving the grasping part through the hand travel space.
