HOUSING UNIT AND WOUND BODY
A housing unit includes: a linear material; and a housing body that houses the linear material. In the housing body, winding regions in which the linear material is wound are disposed in a circumferential direction. The linear material is wound in a figure eight in a first region pair constituted by a pair of the winding regions. The linear material is wound in a figure eight in a second region pair constituted by a pair of the winding regions that are different from the winding regions constituting the first region pair.
Retractable vacuum hose system
A retractable vacuum hose system may include a hose having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion and a hose engagement terminal for selectively engaging the proximal end portion to secure the proximal end portion and provide power through the hose.
Hose Storage Container
A hose storage container designed to reduce exposure of the stored hose to UV light. The container includes an enclosure unit with a removable lid, a fastening line, and a conduit. The conduit passes through the sidewall of the enclosure and is comprised two threaded points, one on each end of the conduit, and the connection between them. The conduit is constructed of a UV resistant material and serves to increase protection of the hose from UV light and other elements.
Retracting device with hose guide for retracting a hose, vehicle provided therewith and method therefor
A retracting device, vehicle provided therewith and method for retracting a hose. The retracting device includes a frame, a retraction drive connected to the frame for retracting the hose, a coupling configured to couple the frame to a container, and a displacement drive configured to displace the frame relative to the container such that the retracted hose can be placed in the container. The retracting device further includes a hose guide configured to guide the hose for retraction to the retraction drive, and the hose guide is displaceable in operative connection to the frame.
Portable, powered collection system for flexible fluid hoses
The present invention relates generally to medical equipment, more particularly, the use of fluid hoses coupling tanks to cannulas, as part of medical gas therapy, such as oxygen therapy. The invention describes a collection system for managing excess flexible hose that a patient might need to wear for medical reasons such as home oxygen medical therapy. It comprises a non-spooling roller system attached to a receptacle for collecting excess hose into the receptacle and extraction from the receptacle, and a power system to power and control the roller system, and design features that optimize the collection and extraction.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING A SIMULATION OF A RETRACTION CABLE MOTION
Systems and a method for simulating a flexible retraction cable during motion of an object to which the cable is attached. The method includes receiving information inputs, including a numerical model of the object, receiving cable information inputs and retraction system information inputs. A numerical model of the flexible cable is modeled by modelling only a part of the flexible cable located outside a retraction system as a sequence of control points distributed along a length of the part, wherein each of the control points is submitted to a force representing the interaction of the control point with its environment and wherein the number of control points is fixed. The method further includes storing the numerical model of the flexible cable in a memory and simulating a motion of the flexible cable that would occur during a movement of the object.
HOSE CADDY
A hose caddy includes a body made of a rigid material. The body includes a tube shape with an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface defines a channel having a first open end, and a second open end. One, or more, couplers protrude from a rear side of the outer surface of the body and couples the body to a surface. At least one hook protrudes from a front side of the outer surface of the body.
Device and method for storing and transporting cables
A device and method for storing cables commonly associated with mobile devices. A platform of the device has two posts around which a cable is wound, and a flexible cover attached to the posts that can fully enclose the cable and platform when closed. While remaining attached to the posts, the cover can be opened to allow access to the cavity for winding or unwinding the cable.
Tangle free cord bag
Bags and bag assemblies are provided for facilitating tangle-free storage of cords, ropes, cables, and other long and flexible members within the bags and bag assemblies. The body of the bag includes two compartments which are at least partially separated from each other by an internal divider. Each of the two compartments include outer surfaces which define respective openings that each include a closing mechanism for selectively switching between an open and closed configuration. The internal divider is positioned directly between the two openings, and the bag is configured to provide access to the cord in the bag from either of the openings.
