The cover carrier mechanism extends between and is rotatably mounted to the first mobile support assembly and the second mobile support assembly. The cover carrier mechanism is configured for selectably deploying a cover carried thereby, with the cover carrier mechanism being configured to respectively roll and unroll the cover relative thereto.

Inflator with sound-proof housing

An apparatus is described herein that may generally include an air pump, a rotatable drum, a flexible hose, and first and second housings. The drum may draw in and let out the flexible hose. The pump may be connected to the flexible hose. The first housing may enclose in inner portion of the drum, and may include a first air intake. The pump may be disposed within the first housing. The second housing may surround the drum and may include a second air intake. The flexible hose may pass through the second air intake. The first intake may be aligned perpendicular to the second air intake. Alternatively, the first intake may be aligned parallel to the second air intake on a side of the drum opposite the second air intake. Sound emitted from the pump may pass over, and be absorbed by, the flexible hose within the second housing.

Bucket reel device

A device for the coiling, storage and payout of cable, hose, cord and wire having a bucket creating a storage space defined by a round bucket bottom, a peripheral wall cylindrically extending from the round bucket bottom and terminating in a round open top and a bucket longitudinal axis passing through its geometric center. A spool having a cylindrical core, spaced apart top and bottom flanges and a spool longitudinal axis passing through its geometric center. A nub extends between and spaces the bottom flange from the bucket bottom, the bucket further having an opening in its peripheral wall, the opening having elongated sides extending longitudinally and parallel to the bucket longitudinal axis and extending the distance between the top and bottom flanges and relatively low friction contour rails positioned along the elongated sides and an extendible handle secured to the top flange.

Cable reel for audio-visual device
10207892 · 2019-02-19 · ·

A cable reel for audio-visual device includes an upper base and a lower base attracted to an external device. An audio-visual device hangs on a top of the lower base. The upper base cooperates with the lower base whereby connection cables are spooled and accommodated in an upper circular groove of the upper base and a lower circular groove of the lower base. The present invention places the audio-visual device so that a user can easily spool connection cables of the audio-visual device with one hand. Once the audio-visual device is not needed, the user can rapidly and conveniently manage cables and place the audio-visual device without worrying about the inner breaking of the connection cables resulted from entangling the connection cables.

REEL HANDLER

A reel handler system includes a first arm and a second arm. A first member is coupled to the first arm and a second member is coupled to the second arm. A sleeve has the members movably positioned therein. A first bracket has a first link coupled to the first arm and a second link coupled to the sleeve. The links are pivotable relative to one another. A second bracket has a third link coupled to the second arm and a fourth link coupled to the sleeve. The third and fourth links are pivotable relative to one another. The brackets are movable to increase and decrease a distance between the arms from a first configuration in which the first and third links are spaced a first distance apart from the sleeve and a second configuration in which the first and third links are spaced a second distance apart from the sleeve.

Multi-Nozzle Mechanical Tube Cleaning System
20190049198 · 2019-02-14 · ·

The efficiency of projectile tube cleaning in multitube heat exchangers is greatly enhanced by the use of two or more nozzles for pressurized water or other liquid held by a bracket in parallel orientation a distance apart that equals the distance apart of the tubes. A pneumatic control system enables the simultaneous activation of two or more pressurized water valves so that two or more tubes can be scraped clean at once. Large heat exchangers and condensers having ordered arrays of thousands of parallel tubes can be cleaned by selecting a number of tubes for deposition of cleaning projectiles, repeatedly projecting two or more of the projectiles simultaneously, and immediately moving on to another set of tubes; then repeating the process with another selected number of tubes.

AUTOMATIC SPOOL TENSIONING MECHANISM

Systems (100) and methods (1400) for operating a Spool Mechanism (SM). The methods comprise: transitioning an operational mode of SM from a first operational mode in which a drag torque is not settable to a second operational mode in which the drag torque is settable; selectively mechanically coupling a rewind motor to a spool (612) of SM by engaging a coupler (1014) in response to the SM's transition into the second operational mode; activating the rewind motor (610) such that the rewind motor applies a motor torque having a pre-defined value selected for facilitating a setting of the drag torque to an optimal value; mechanically gradually adjusting an amount of drag resistance applied to the spool by a drag mechanism (1012); and discontinuing the mechanical adjustment of the drag resistance when the spool's speed is within a threshold percentage range of a zero resistance speed.

Skylight with manual closing feature
10196822 · 2019-02-05 ·

A skylight or roof hatch that is manually opened and closed. The skylight is formed of a window mounted to a casing frame by way of one or more hinges which allows the window to open and close. One more gas springs mounted between the window and the casing frame are configured to exert a force against the inside of the window. The gas springs are used to urge the window into an open position. Once in the open position, the window is closed by overcoming the force exerted by the gas springs. This is achieved by winding in a cable that is connected to the window. A single pulley wheel is part of a control unit which is utilized to spool in the cable connected to the window in order to close the window and to unlock a reel lock to allow for automatic opening of the window.
