Retracting Systems for Providing Access to Adapters
An adapter system is provided that facilitates convenient access to a plurality of adapters, e.g., DVI-D to HDMI adapter(s), Micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), VGA to HDMI adapter(s), MNL to HDMI adapter(s), and/or USB to HDMI adapter(s). The adapter system includes an elongated wire that features a plurality of adapters mounted/secured with respect thereto. The wire is at least partially stored within a housing and extends therefrom. The adapters are mounted/secured with respect to a portion of the wire that extends from the housing. The housing includes a retraction mechanism that facilitates retraction of the wire into the housing for convenient storage thereof. The present disclosure further provides structures that are configured and dimensioned to receive the disclosed housing, e.g., in office, commercial and/or residential environments, thereby facilitating access to the adapters that are mounted/secured with respect to the wire. In use, the disclosed adapter system permits a user to readily access and individually utilize each of the adapters mounted/secured with respect to the wire on an as-needed basis and to store at least the portion of the wire that does not include mounted/secured adapters within a housing. Retraction of the wire into the housing is facilitated by the disclosed retraction mechanism.
Holder for straps having hooks and methods of making and using
A holder for straps includes a base including a body portion and a tail portion, and a waist where the body portion and the tail portion join. The base defines first and second horizontally opposed recesses and a wrap area disposed therebetween. First embodiments of the holder include pegs disposed on opposing sides of the wrap area. The pegs can engage with S-hooks, D rings, snap hooks, carabiners and the like. Second embodiments of the holder include a base defining slots from edges of the body portion and disposed on opposing sides of the wrap area. The slots can engage with J-hooks, T-hooks, U-hooks, and the like. After securing the hook thereof, each strap is wrapped around the base through first and second recesses. Straps can be secured by disposing a loop such as a loop of bungee cord or a tie about the waist and tightening the cord or tie.
Bidirectional spool apparatus and method of use
Disclosed is a bidirectional spool apparatus (BSA) and method of use. The BSA comprises a spool apparatus having a plurality of spools, a plurality of cables, and an adjustment knob. When the BSA is in a first mode, rotation of the adjustment knob causes a corresponding rotation of a first spool in a tightening direction and a tightening of a first cable but allows a second cable to rotate substantially freely, and such that when the BSA is in a second mode, rotation of the adjustment knob causes a corresponding rotation of a second spool in a tightening direction and a tightening of a second cable but allows a first cable to rotate substantially freely. Switching of the BSA from a first mode to a second mode and vice versa is accomplished by pulling the adjustment knob out a distance and by pushing the adjustment knob in a distance.
Hooking device of VR data cable
Disclosed is a hooking device of a VR data cable, configured to hang the VR data cable, including a buffer, a hang assembly, and an adjustment assembly. The buffer is hung on a hook of a ceiling. The hang assembly is configured to hang the VR data cable. One end of the adjustment assembly is connected to the buffer, and the other end of the adjustment assembly is connected to the hang assembly, and the adjustment assembly adjusts a hang height of the VR data cable through elastic expansion and contraction.
Infusion set improvements
A method and device for adjusting the unstored length of tubing directed to improving the use of infusion sets that deliver fluids to a user. The device includes a storage module and other features for adjusting, storing and securing the length of the tubing. The method of adjusting the length of the tubing to a desired length typically comprises removably attaching the tubing to the adjuster, adjusting the tubing by wrapping the tubing around a hub or post of the adjuster, and fixing the length of the unstored tubing by attaching the tubing to a securing device such as a friction structure or fastener.
Ultrasound diagnostic device
A cable container is provided on a right side surface or a left side surface of a device body of an ultrasound diagnostic device. The cable container is configured to include a container body having an opening that opens upward. An upper end of a front side wall of the container body has a notch that serves as a passage through which a probe cable extends from the inside of the container body toward the outside of the container body.
Reel take-up machine
A reel take-up apparatus includes a frame, a drive mechanism, a pair of support rollers, and a pair of positioning actuators. The frame may be configured to receive a reel from one end. The drive mechanism is generally slidably mounted to the frame and configured to rotate the reel. The pair of support rollers generally extend from the frame and may be configured to provide support to the reel while allowing the reel to rotate. The pair of positioning actuators may be configured to move the pair of support rollers toward and away from each other so as to (i) lift the reel from a support surface, (ii) support the reel during rotation by the drive mechanism, and (iii) lower the reel to the support surface for removal from the frame.
AUTOMATED FOOTWEAR LACING SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND TECHNIQUES
In an example, a lacing engine apparatus can include a housing and a drivetrain. The housing can be securable within a footwear article. The drivetrain can include a motor, a sun gear, a planet gear, a rotating ring gear, and a spool. The spool can be secured to the ring gear and can be rotatable therewith. The spool can be configured to control a lace of the footwear article and can be configured to wind the lace as the ring gear rotates in a first direction.
PIPELINE INSPECTION DEVICE
A hub for use with a pipeline inspection device including a reel and a cable disposed at least partially within the reel, the cable including a camera. The the hub includes a body configured to be selectively coupled to the reel, a mating member positioned on the body, where the mating member is configured to removably secure the body to the reel, a wireless communication module positioned within the body, where the wireless communication module is configured to create a wireless connection between the hub and a remote device including a display, a battery receptacle on the body, and a battery removably coupled to the battery receptacle, the battery configured to provide power to the camera.
WALL-MOUNTABLE OPTICAL FIBER DISTRIBUTION TERMINAL ASSEMBLY
An optical fiber distribution terminal assembly comprises a housing having a rear housing portion and a front housing portion moveable between an open position and a closed position defining an interior. The housing further defines at least one port for passage of a optical fiber distribution cable. A rotatable reel is located in the interior of the housing, the reel carrying a length of optical fiber distribution cable. A distribution module, also located in the housing, is operative to distribute source fibers of the optical fiber distribution cable to individual subscriber cables.
