POWER AND DATA COUPLING SYSTEM
A power and data coupling system for a handheld electronic device includes accessory housing configured to operatively couple with the electronic device. An accessory station is integrated with the accessory housing to store and charge at least one accessory item of the electronic device. The housing includes at least one electronic logic board configured to provide or accept power or data to and from the handheld electronic device when the accessory housing is within an effective range of a power and data transfer component of the electronic device. A software installed on the electronic logic board is configured to control a power transfer between at least two of the following: the accessory housing, the accessory station, the at least one accessory item, and the handheld electronic device.
FISH TAPE ASSEMBLY
A fish tape tool may include a housing including a handle. A fish tape tool may include a drum configured to be removably coupled to the housing, the drum containing a fish tape, the drum including a frame and a drum portion that is rotatable relative to the frame, wherein at least a portion of the frame and at least a portion of the drum portion each remain exposed when the drum is coupled to the housing.
CABLE REEL ASSEMBLY
A cable reel assembly is disclosed. The cable reel assembly comprises a rotatable body having a first lateral end and an opposing second lateral end, and an outer wall shaped to receive a cable wound therearound, a reduction gear having a gear edge defining a plurality of teeth, arranged at the first or second lateral end of the rotatable body, an auxiliary shaft assembly comprising an elongate bar extending from a first end to an opposing second end, and a drive gear joined to the first end of the elongate bar. The drive gear is gearingly engagable with the gear teeth of the reduction gear. A drive motor is operatively coupled to the drive gear of the auxiliary shaft assembly to selectively drive a rotation of the drive gear, which in turn drives a rotation of the reduction gear, thereby rotating the rotatable body about a longitudinal axis thereof.
Electronically Controlled Dog Leash with Tension Adjustment
An electronically controlled dog leash with adjustable tension includes an electric motor connected to a leash reel, a motor controller, a microprocessor, at least one sensor for monitoring leash position, and a power source. The microprocessor processes sensor data and controls the motor to maintain minimal tension while accommodating changes in distance between dog and owner. An adjustable slow-down feature gradually increases tension over a user-defined distance as the leash approaches maximum extension, preventing sudden jerks. A manual stop/lock mechanism may be included to prevent leash extension when needed. User-adjustable controls allow customization of tension, retraction speed, and slow-down parameters. The leash improves comfort and safety while facilitating loose leash training.
STORAGE SYSTEM
A storage system for a handheld electronic device includes a housing member and a storage compartment. The housing member is configured to receive and secure the handheld electronic device. The storage compartment is integrated with the housing member. The storage compartment secures an item and is a tubular in shape and is configured to retain the item. The item is at least one of a lip balm, lipstick, lip gloss cigarette, and e-cigarette. Preferably, the housing member is formed from an elastic material allowing the storage compartment to adjust in a size or shape to retain the item. Preferably, the storage compartment is monolithically constructed.
BILATERAL RETRACTABLE BAND/CORD DEVICE WITH HANDLES
A bilateral retractable band/cord device with handles on both ends (FIG. 1). Each handle element (110) attaches to a housing member (116) internally consisting of a spring biased retractable spool axel (238) that protracts outwardly or retracts inwardly a shared band/cord element (134). A locking mechanism (132) on the outside of each housing member (116) locks the shared band/cord element (134) at any length between the handle elements (110). When the band/cord element (134) is elastic, this embodiment is a self-contained, bilateral, hand-held, multidimensional exercise tool that is adjustable to variable lengths while maintaining the handle elements (110) for comfort, stability, and portability. The ability to change the materials, sizes, shapes, and designs of each element of this device makes it versatile for a plethora of uses, e.g. an exercise device, a carry-assist device and a belt, with the advantages of stability, comfort, compactness, ease of use, and portability.
HOSE REEL ASSEMBLY WITH LOCKING WINDING SPOOL
A hose reel assembly for use in the storage and deployment of pressure washer or air compressor hoses includes a winding spool having a winding shaft about which a length of hose may be coiled or uncoiled. The winding spool is rotatably supported on support frame which internally positions the winding shaft substantially within the pressure or air compressor housing.
DEVICE CABLE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT
Examples are disclosed that relate to power supply devices and methods for adjusting a length of a device cable extending from the power supply device. In one example a method comprises, at a power supply device comprising a device cable, determining a cable property of the device cable. Based at least in part on the cable property of the device cable, actuating a motor in the power supply device to change the length of the device cable extending from the power supply device.
Fish tape tool
A fish tape tool includes a housing and a drum supported by the housing for rotation relative to the housing. The drum includes an inner surface that at least partially defines a fish tape storage zone. The inner surface is made of a first material having a first coefficient of friction. The fish tape tool also includes a fish tape positioned at least partially within the fish tape storage zone of the drum. The fish tape is dispensed or retracted from the drum as the drum rotates. The fish tape tool further includes a friction layer positioned on at least a portion of the inner surface of the drum. The friction layer has a second coefficient of friction that is greater than the first coefficient of friction.
Electric fence reel
Provided is a reel for a conductor of an electric fence. The reel includes a bobbin, a frame for supporting the bobbin, and a connector. The connector can be two jaws and can have passages to connect the reel to a support such as a conductor of an existing fence or a tube of a vehicle. One of the jaws can be wide for stability. The connector can have an electrical conductor for connecting to the support and electrifying the conductor. The connector can also be operated by a trigger and can have a locking mechanism. The frame can be a one-piece frame made of plastics material. The reel can have a spreader and a hot-up bar. The reel can have a crank that can be disengaged from the bobbin and a brake that is applied when the crank is disengaged.
