TRANSFER DEVICE FOR MAINTAINING AN ELECTRICAL OR OPTICAL CONNECTION
A transfer device for limiting a twisting of a link between an end of the fixed link with respect to a fixed part and an end of the fixed link with respect to a revolving part that can revolve with respect to the fixed part about an axis of rotation, the transfer device for a link includes: a composite drum comprising a set of drums aligned on the axis of rotation about which the link can be wound, the set of drums comprising a fixed drum intended to be secured to the fixed part in rotation about the axis of rotation, a revolving drum intended to be able to revolve about the axis x with respect to the fixed part and a set of at least one loose drum interposed between the fixed drum and the revolving drum, each loose drum being free to rotate about the axis of rotation with respect to the revolving drum and the fixed drum and having a height on the axis.
Inflatable pipe drum systems and methods
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a pipe drum system that includes a drum body. The drum body is to be disposed within an interior channel of a pipe coil that is formed from a flexible pipe including tubing that defines a pipe bore and a fluid conduit within a tubing annulus. The drum body includes a drum core implemented with substantially fixed dimensions and a fluid bladder layer implemented circumferentially around the drum core. The pipe drum system maintains the fluid bladder layer in a first state to enable the drum body to be inserted into the interior channel of the pipe coil after the pipe coil is formed and increases inflation of the fluid bladder layer from the first state to a second state to enable an outer surface of the drum body to push against an inner surface of the pipe coil to facilitate supporting the pipe coil.
Pipe coil deployment drum with independent paddle movement systems and methods
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a pipe deployment system that includes pipe deployment equipment, which facilitates deploying a pipe segment from a pipe coil, and a pipe drum, which includes a drum body around which the pipe coil is to be disposed. The pipe drum is to be disposed on the pipe deployment equipment and the drum body includes a drum core as well as a lower paddle assembly and an upper paddle assembly, which are slidably secured to the drum core. The pipe deployment system maintains the paddle assemblies in a retracted state to enable the drum body to be inserted into the pipe coil, extends the lower paddle assembly to a more extended state to facilitate raising the drum core, and retracts the lower paddle assembly to a less extended state and extends the upper paddle assembly to the less extended state to facilitate lifting the pipe coil.
WINDING DEVICE FOR A STUNT KITE, PARAGLIDER OR PARACHUTE
The invention relates to a winding device (30) for winding up and unwinding lines (50) of a stunt kite, paraglider or parachute (60) with at least three reels (11) for receiving at least one line (50) of the stunt kite, paraglider or parachute (60). According to the invention, at least two reels (11) have their own reel drive (14) for winding up and unwinding the line (50) taken up on the reel (11).
PORTABLE RETRACTING DEVICE FOR MEDICAL TUBING MANAGEMENT
A portable retracting device for medical tubing management includes a housing. The housing includes a retractable cord disposed within the housing, wherein the retractable cord is configured to extend from a side of the housing. The device includes a first spring clamp configured to attach to clothing of an individual, a second spring clamp configured to clamp to the medical tube having a first diameter at a first location of the first medical tube, and a third spring clamp coupled to an end of the retractable cord configured to clamp the medical tube at a second location of the first medical tube to form a first loop in the first medical tube from the first location of the first medical tube to the second location of the first medical tube.
PIPELINE INSPECTION DEVICE
A pipeline inspection device including a stand, a drum rotatably supported by the stand, the drum including an opening in a front wall of the drum, a cable disposed at least partially within the drum, the cable including a camera disposed on a distal end of the cable, the camera and the cable configured to be directed into a conduit, a hub including a body at least partially insertable into the opening of the drum, the hub being electrically coupled to the cable when inserted into the opening, a wireless communication module housed within the hub, and a battery supported by the hub, the battery and the hub being removable from the drum as a single unit.
Motorized hose reel
The motorized hose reel is a storage device. The motorized hose reel is configured for use with a hose. The motorized hose reel stores the hose. The motorized hose reel deploys the hose for use. The motorized hose reel retracts the hose for storage. The motorized hose reel comprises a hose structure, a spool structure, a control circuit, and a personal data device. The spool structure stores the hose structure. The control circuit is an electrically powered device. The control circuit deploys the hose structure from the spool structure for use. The control circuit retracts onto the spool structure for storage. The personal data device controls the operation of the control circuit.
Cable Coiling System
A cable coiling system for coiling a cable into a cable coil includes a reel rotatable around a central axis of the reel, a gripper configured to grip a starting end of the cable, and a slide rail extending in a direction perpendicular to the central axis of the reel. The cable is coilable around the reel to form the cable coil by rotating the reel in a state in which the gripper is coupled onto the reel and grips the starting end of the cable. The reel is slidably mounted on the slide rail. A length of the starting end of the cable coiled around the reel is adjustable by moving the reel along the slide rail and rotating the reel around the central axis in a state in which the gripper is separated from the reel and fixed at a predetermined position.
Retractable cable assembly in use with electrical devices
A retractable cable assembly in use with an electrical charger, power adapter, or other power supply. A cable wound on a spool disposed within a housing may be extracted by manually pulling on the cable or pressing of a release switch until the desired length of the cable is drawn. As the cable is drawn an engaged locking mechanism is used to keep the cable in place during and after extraction of the cable until which time retraction of the cable is desired. Rotation or twisting of at least a portion of the housing disengages the locking mechanism, thereby freeing the cable and immediately retracting the cable within the housing.
