The lower assembly device includes a locating jig for positioning the bottom flange on the support plate. The lower assembly device includes a lower staple gun configured to staple the bottom flange to the reel core. The reel assembly machine includes an upper assembly device including a pressure plate configured to press against the top flange and hold the reel core between the bottom flange and the top flange. The upper assembly device includes an upper staple gun configured to staple the top flange to the reel core.
Reel transport, stand and payoff device
A reel transport, stand and payoff device is provided, which operates to maneuver and jack up a reel for payoff. The reel device may include two reel mechanisms coupled together with a first support member and a second support member. Each reel mechanism includes a wheel housing and a wheel coupled to a central portion of the wheel housing. Each reel mechanism includes an arm coupled on an end to a central portion of the wheel housing. An actuator is coupled between the wheel housing and the arm to raise or lower the arm. The reel device may include at least one caster to help support and stabilize the reel device. A shaft is inserted through a reel and coupled on each end to an arm by a bracket. A method of use of a reel transport, stand and payoff device is also disclosed.
Powered rewind apparatus
A device that is used to rewind loose cable and wire that is typically accomplished by hand, that is, no power is available for driving such apparati. This device is adaptable to, and uses the already existing power on a service truck to power the device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF WIRELINE CABLE SPOOLING EQUIPMENT
A method of controlling operation of equipment that spools cable on and off a rotatable drum, in one or more embodiments, includes obtaining video data of a position of the cable on the rotatable drum. The method can also include feeding data into a trained artificial neural network and processing the data fed into the trained artificial neural network to determine at least one of a calculated position of the cable on the rotatable drum, a calculated fleet angle, or both. The method can also include actuating the rotatable drum to one of spool cable on and off the rotatable drum.
Hose dispensing system
A system for dispensing a flexible hose includes a hose dispensing carousel having a frame, a spool support plate rotatably mounted to the frame and having a plurality of spool axles for rotatably supporting a plurality of spools of hose, and a lock adapted to fix a position of the spool support plate relative to the frame in a plurality of discrete positions. The system further includes a guide defining an opening adapted to receive a free end of a hose held on one of the plurality of spools. The guide defines at least one rotatable bearing surface positioned at the opening, and is adapted to guide the hose toward a tool for performing a manufacturing operation on the hose.
HOSE REEL
A portable hose reel for storing and transporting a garden hose is disclosed. The spool of the hose reel has blow-molded flanges and single core to simplify assembly and provide increased strength. The hose reel also includes an unobtrusive hose connector and strain relief member to align the hose on the spool. In addition, a bow tie shape of the spool in combination with a metal frame geometry increases stability while winding or unwinding a garden hose. The hose reel further includes seal having a double O-rings each with a polytetrafluoroethylene backer to improve performance and longevity. Improved torque transmission from the hose reel crank to the spool is provided by a combination of the hose connector being embedded in a spool flange with a tabbed spacer block connected to the spool axel by a set bolt.
Routing apparatus, kit and system for use with an electric charging cable, and methods of using same
A cable routing apparatus, for supporting an electric charging cable, includes a mounting plate and a pulley-bracket assembly, which is pivotally attachable to the mounting plate. The pulley-bracket assembly includes a pulley support member having a pulley support plate and at least one pulley support arm extending downwardly from the support plate. The pulley-bracket assembly further includes a pulley wheel for supporting part of the cable thereon, and a pulley axle extending through a central hub of the pulley wheel. A housing may be provided for covering the pulley-bracket member, and parts of the pulley support member may, optionally, be integrated into the housing. A kit including two of the described cable routing apparatus along with an intermediate pulley bracket and other components, as well as a method of installing the kit in a garage to provide a cable routing system are also described.
Hose coiling device
A hose coiling device is provided. The hose coiling device includes an elongated shaft having an upper end and a lower end. An offset handle extends from the elongated shaft. A grip is affixed to the upper end, and a connector is disposed on the lower end. The connector removably secures one of a plurality of interchangeable tool heads thereto, wherein the plurality of interchangeable tool heads includes at least a flat hose coiling tool head and a garden hose coiling tool head. The flat hose coiling tool head includes a base removably securable to the connector, wherein the base includes a first prong and a second prong extending therefrom. The first prong is disposed parallel to the second prong. The garden hose coiling tool head includes a U-shaped member removably securable to the connector having at least one platform extending perpendicularly inwardly from an arm of the U-shaped member.
