Reel Transport Apparatus and Method
An apparatus comprising a mobile carrier operable for transporting a reel of oilfield tubing across ground. The mobile carrier comprises a frame comprising a first frame portion, a second frame portion, and a central frame portion extending between the first and second frame portions. The first, second, and central frame portions define an opening for receiving the reel. The mobile carrier also comprises a locking mechanism operable to engage and rotate the reel within the opening, and a plurality of wheels supporting the frame on the ground. The plurality of wheels comprises a plurality of first wheels operably connected to the first frame portion and a plurality of second wheels operably connected to the second frame portion. The opening interposes the plurality of first wheels and the plurality of second wheels.
ADJUSTABLE SHOWER HEAD ASSEMBLY
A height adjustable shower head assembly comprising a receptacle adapted for mounting to a ceiling, a reel member provided in the housing, a flexible hose having first end and second ends, the flexible hose is stored on the reel and is adapted to be vertically deployed from the reel and retracted onto the reel, the first end of the flexible hose is connected to a water supply, the second end of the flexible hose is connected to a shower head, whereby the distance of the shower head from the ceiling may be adjusted by selectively deploying or retracting the flexible hose.
Electronically controlled reel system for oilfield operations
A system and method for electronically controlling a reel system for oilfield operations. The electronically controlled reel system for oilfield operations comprises a reel, and an electronic control system in communication with the reel to electronically control rotation of the reel. The method of controlling a reel for an oilfield operation comprises receiving a command from an electronic control system; and supplying an electrical control signal to the reel based on the command to control rotation of the reel.
Cord reel device and electronic device
A cord reel device is a cord reel device for winding a cord in an extendable and retractable manner, and includes an enclosure, a reel, a pin, a support column, and a ring. The reel is rotatably disposed around a rotation axis AX in the enclosure and includes a hollow reel body around which a reel cord can be wound. The reel body has an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface. The pin extends between the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface of the reel body, with one end thereof on the outer peripheral surface side being connected with the reel cord. The support column is disposed inside the reel body. The ring is at least partially embedded in the support and disposed so as to be in constant contact with another end of the pin on the inner peripheral surface side.
Coiled tubing and slickline unit
A coiled tubing unit includes a coiled tubing assembly and a slickline assembly sharing an axis of rotation with the coiled tubing assembly. A shaft of the coiled tubing assembly is received by bearings on a slickline drum of the slickline assembly and extends through an interior of the slickline drum. A swivel joint connection is rotatably affixed on an end of the main shaft as it exits the interior of the slickline drum, thus allowing for introduction of fluid or cabling into the main shaft and into the coiled tubing. The coiled tubing drum and slickline drum can rotate independently and are powered independently of each other. The coiled tubing and slickline assemblies are preferably affixed to a removable module, the removable module being positioned on a skid having a power unit and appropriate controls.
GROUND THAWING HOSE CLEANING REEL GUIDE ASSEMBLY
A ground thawing hose cleaning reel guide assembly cleans a ground thawing hose as the hose is reeled back onto a reel within a vehicle. The assembly includes a hose guide coupled to a frame such that the hose guide is movable between opposite ends of the frame. The hose guide has an interior edge defining an aperture extending through the hose guide. A sheet is coupled to the hose guide extending over the aperture. A channel extends into the sheet. The channel is configured to receive a hose within the channel whereby the sheet is configured to scrape debris from the hose as the hose is moved through the hose guide.
MOBILE COILED TUBING DRILLING APPARATUS
A mobile, coiled tubing drilling apparatus, the apparatus including a non-rotating mast on a mobile platform, the mast having mounted thereon an injector, a coiled tubing reel having a tubing pay-off point associated therewith, and a tubing control system, wherein the tubing control system is between the reel and the injector, and includes a tubing abutment adjacent the tubing pay-off point for applying an opposite bend to the tubing during pay-out of the tubing, and the reel is mounted for horizontal (x,y) movement such that, during pay-out of the tubing, the tubing pay-off point can be maintained generally above the injector, and can also be moved towards or away from the tubing abutment.
FLEXIBLE LAYER SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND RETRACTABLE DEVICE
A flexible layer support structure and a retractable device is disclosed. The flexible layer support structure includes a first thin sheet and a second thin sheet arranged in parallel with each other, as well as and a folding spring group sandwiched between the first thin sheet and the second thin sheet and arranged in parallel. The curved elastic pieces in the folding spring group are smoothly overlapped and connected with the thin sheets, so as to enclose a hollow thin-walled elastic structure that can be overlapped and rolled up, can be automatically straightened and has a flat surface. The retractable device includes a winding shaft, a pressure roller, and a flexible layer support structure installed on the winding shaft. The flexible layer support structure of the present disclosure has the advantages in lightweight, high storage ratio, large unfolded area, simple winding, large load bearing capacity, and less damage.
Retractable cable and cable rewind spool configuration
A spool apparatus is described to include in one particular example a cable spool with a first cylindrical lip and a second cylindrical lip on an opposite side of the cable spool. A center of the spool includes a clutch bearing in the center of both the first cylindrical lip and the second cylindrical lip that provides a rotational axis for the cable spool to rotate around. The apparatus may also include a feed slot near the first cylindrical lip that provides a passage for cable to pass from the second cylindrical lip to the first cylindrical lip.
