ACCESSORY MANAGEMENT APPARATUS
An accessory management system includes a first part which mates with a handheld electronic device. The first part includes a port to electrically connect an external device to the first part, a circuit board, a connector, and an accessory station configured to removably connect to an accessory item. The accessory station includes electrical contacts. The connector is configured to electronically or electrically connect to a port of the handheld electronic device and configured to transmit at least one of data and power between at least two of the following: the accessory management apparatus, the handheld electronic device, and the accessory item. The accessory item is independent from the first part and removably attaches to the first part. The electrical contacts are mounted proximate to the accessory item. The electrical contacts electrically connect the accessory item to either the first part or the handheld electronic device to transfer charging power.
CIPP Liner Reel System
A CIPP liner reel system for managing the utilization and deployment of CIPP liners. The CIPP liner reel system generally includes a frame connected to a reel and drive unit. The drive unit is connected to the reel to control the rotation of its core. This core contains an opening that provides access to a connector unit within the core. This connector unit can be used to connect the reel to the end of a CIPP liner using a strap. Rotation of the core causes CIPP liner to wind on to or unwind from the reel. The reel may also contain a left guide member and a right guide member to assist in controlling the process of winding and unwinding the CIPP liner. The frame may also include a tractor connector that enables the CIPP liner reel system to be coupled to and transported by a tractor without affecting its operation.
System, apparatus and methods for cord storage reel
A cord reel apparatus for holding and winding cords includes a housing, a spool and a handle. The housing and spool further have three outlets to conveniently access the two plugging ends of the cord. The handle extends from exterior of housing and a crank handle internally connected to spool helps in faster and smoother winding and unwinding of the cords. Also the cord reel apparatus includes a gear system (outer, central and inner gears) to help in faster winding and unwinding of cords.
System and method for handling reel of pipe
A system includes a frame and a first pair of rollers coupled to a first side of the frame. The first pair of rollers is configured to support a first end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a first cradle disposed longitudinally between the first pair of rollers and a second pair of rollers coupled to a second side of the frame. The second pair of rollers is configured to support a second end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a second cradle disposed longitudinally between the second pair of rollers, a pipe guide coupled to a third side of the frame between the first and second sides, a pipe brake coupled to the frame, and a pipe re-spooler coupled to the frame.
Lining drum
A lining drum which has a tubular body having open ends, an inlet for compressed air and an outlet for liner is disclosed. The lining drum has end pieces removably attached to the tubular body for closing the open ends of the tubular body, a rotatable shaft inside the tubular body and a crank for rotating the shaft. The end piece has a spring-loaded flange mounting, wherein bias of springs pushes the flange mounting towards the tubular body and a closed position of the flange mounting, and air pressure inside the lining drum pushes the flange mounting away from the tubular body and towards an open position of the flange mounting.
Sensor equipped tether guide with open tether channel
A tether guide operable through a wide range of tether/fleeting angles while causing minimal wear and having a reduced size compared to a levelwind wheel. The tether guide may include a series of rollers approximating the curved shape and radius of levelwind wheel. The tether guide may include downward facing guide wings matched to a curved roller profile, but flaring out to capture and guide tether into rollers. Sensors may be included on the tether guide to provide information about tether location, including whether the tether is engaged in the tether guide.
RETRACTABLE PET TRACTION ROPE
A retractable pet traction rope is provided. The retractable pet traction rope includes a leash, whose two ends are respectively a pet connection end for connecting a pet and a holding end for a tractor to hold for control, wherein the retractable pet traction rope further includes an elastic leash winding device, into which the leash is wound, with both ends of the leash respectively extending out of the elastic leash winding device. The retractable pet traction rope has the advantage of quick retractable speed, high structural strength, small body size, and convenient carriage.
Level winder
A level winder (10, 110, 210, 310) for use on a hose reel (1), the level winder including: a carriage (20, 120, 220) operatively connected to a hose guide (104-108), the carriage adapted to control the winding of the hose onto the hose reel and to allow the hose to be paid out through the hose guide; and a drive mechanism 30 carrying at least one drive dog (32, 136) that is adapted to travel in a substantially vertical drive mechanism plane and to engage a carriage guide (12, 112) on which the carriage is mounted to move the carriage reciprocally along a track. The carriage guide is aligned in the same plane that the drive dog travels and the carriage guide comprises at least one curved surface (14, 114) adapted to define a recess (13, 113) and to engage a curved surface of the drive dog (16, 116), such that at least a portion of the drive dog curved surface (I6) is always facing or engaged with the carriage guide curved surface (14) and remains trapped in the recess (12, 113).
REDUCED SIZED WEARABLE RETRACTABLE
A pawl-less retractable comprises an inner frame with a drum-sperrad assembly mounted to the inner frame between side members of the frame to rotate relative to the frame and a stop cap which, during a fall, engages said drum-sperrad assembly to prevent further rotation of said drum. The inner frame can be pivotally mounted to the stop cap such that the inner frame and the drum-sperrad assembly pivot relative to the step cap, or the stop cap can pivot relative to the drum-sperrad assembly. The stop cap comprises a central body, a leading wing extending from a first side of the central body and a trailing wing extending from a second side of the central body opposite said first side. In use, the drum-sperrad assembly and the stop cap pivot relative to each other between an unlocked position in which the teeth of the sperrad are inside of an engagement zone circle and a locked position in which the teeth are outside of the engagement zone circle.
Dispensing from an apparatus
Various embodiments are described that relate to dispensing from an apparatus. The apparatus can be a cable dispensing apparatus that is attached to a vehicle. As the vehicle travels, the apparatus can lay or retract cable. The rate of this laying or retracting can be based, at least in part, on a travel condition of the vehicle.
