FOIL REEL MOUNTING DEVICE, SUPPORTING MODULE, STAMPING MACHINE, HANDLING TOOL AND METHOD FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING A REEL OF STAMPING FOIL
A foil reel mounting device (10; 40) for supporting a reel (2) of stamping foil (3) in a supporting module (1). The device is fixed to the supporting module (1). It includes a support (11; 41) having a recess (16; 46) to receive an axle (7) of the reel (2) of stamping foil (3). A retaining element (12; 42) mounted on the support (11; 41) and arranged to move between a closed position, in which the retaining element (12; 42) retains the axle (7) of the reel (2) in the recess (16; 46), and an open position, in which the retaining element (12; 42) releases the axle (7) of the reel (2) from the recess (16; 46). The retaining element (12; 42) is biased towards the closed position. Also, a supporting module (1) has at least one foil reel mounting device (10; 40) and a stamping machine (100) includes a supporting module (1) or at least one foil reel mounting device (10; 40). A method for loading and unloading a reel (2) of stamping foil (3) with such at least one foil reel mounting device (10; 40) is also disclosed.
Dispenser for rolled sheet materials
A dispenser having a feed roller that at least partially engages sheet material to facilitate dispensing thereof, and a cutting mechanism disposed within a chamber defined by a body of the feed roller. The cutting mechanism including a cutting blade and at least one movable support connected thereto. The at least one support further is operatively connected to the body of the feed roller and is actuated with rotation thereof to move the cutting blade into and out from one or more openings defined along the body of the feed roller to at least partially cut or perforate a selected portion of the sheet material as the sheet material is dispensed.
Tension-inducing shaft assemblies
A tension-inducing shaft system includes a shaft, two shaft caps, and a biasing mechanism. A bore extends through the shaft between two ends of the shaft. The shaft caps are positioned on the two ends of the shaft. Each shaft cap includes a collar having a size that is larger than the bore, a keyed end, and an anchor. The biasing mechanism is arranged inside the bore and is coupled to the anchors of the shaft caps so that the biasing mechanism exerts inward forces on the shaft cap. The keyed ends of the shaft caps can be coupled to a housing so that the shaft caps do not rotate with respect to the housing. The shaft is configured to rotate with respect to the shaft caps such that, when the keyed ends are coupled to the housing, the shaft is capable of rotating with respect to the housing.
Dispensers
A dispenser with a case including a base and a cover that together define an internal storage region, and an adjustable axle assembly, mounted within the internal storage region of case, including an axle and at least one movable stop that is configured to be secured to the axle.
APPARATUSES FOR LARGE FORMAT PRINTERS
An apparatus (100) for a large format printer (400) to support a spindle (102) of a roll of media comprises at least one supporting member (104, 104a, 104b, 104c) to support the weight of the spindle (102) when the spindle is loaded into the apparatus (100). The apparatus also comprises a cradle (108) to support the spindle (102) as it is loaded onto or unloaded from the at least one supporting member (104). The cradle (108) is moveable between a first position to receive the spindle (102) and a second position when the spindle is supported by the at least one supporting member (104). The apparatus also comprises a shock absorbing member (110) in contact with the cradle (108). The cradle moves between the first and second positions as the spindle (102) is loaded into the apparatus (100) and the shock absorbing member (110) absorbs kinetic energy of the cradle (108) as it moves from the first position to the second position.
Dispenser for rolled sheet materials with motorized spindle
An electronic dispenser for dispensing flexible sheet material may include a driven feed roller assembly that is operable to dispense the sheet material though a discharge chute of a housing of the dispenser. The feed roller assembly can comprise a feed roller rotatably mounted within the dispenser housing that includes a body having an outer surface against which the sheet material is engaged to feed the sheet material toward the discharge chute, as well as a drive mechanism that is substantially integrated within the body of the feed roller and operable to drive the feed roller. The dispenser also may include one or more pressing rollers biased toward the body of the feed roller so as to engage the sheet material therebetween, and a control system linked to the drive mechanism to control the operation thereof.
Multi-roll pet waste bag organizer and dispenser
A wall-mounted, vertical holder, organizer and dispenser for pet waste bag rolls. Pet waste bag rolls come in standardized sizes wound about a spool, each bag separated from the next by a serrated transversal line. These rolls can be fed horizontally from the top of the dispenser to remain held and organized in the dispenser in a stacked configuration. The dispenser facilitates a bag being separated from the bottom-most roll, pulled through a wedge and chute located near the base on the front of the dispenser, and torn off for use without dislodging the bags from the dispenser or the dispenser from the wall. The wedge holds the next bag in the chute, ready for next use.
Foil removal device and a method for removing a foil from a tire tread
Provided is a foil removal device and a method for removing a foil from a tire tread in a removal direction, wherein the foil removal device includes a foil collection unit with a winding element, a winding drive for receiving the foil at or near one of the ends of the foil, a gripper for engaging the foil prior to the removal of the foil and a gripper drive for moving the gripper from the gripping position towards the foil collection unit to partially remove the foil from the tire tread. The gripper is arranged for releasing the foil when the foil collection unit has received the foil. The winding drive is arranged for driving the winding element to engage and subsequently remove the foil. The removal device includes a displacement drive for moving the foil collection unit simultaneously with the winding drive driving the winding element.
FOIL REMOVAL DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR REMOVING A FOIL FROM A TIRE TREAD
