Sanitary Sleeve Applicator for Hoses
The conceived invention provides both a film applicator and a method for placing a continuous film sleeve around a hose, or a grouping of a plurality of hoses. The sleeve thickness is approximately mil to 20 mils thick, which is suitable for cleanliness protection and reducing the possibility of ripping when the hoses are dragged across a floor. The embodied invention includes a plastic sleeve payout tube, that surrounds and encompasses the hose/hoses. The hoses are routed through the sleeve payout tube when they are hauled into a building to be cleaned. The payout tube stores a compacted length of an enclosing plastic sleeve, and the sleeve pays off as the hoses are dragged into the facility to be cleaned. The initial attachment of the plastic sleeve and hoses is by use of an adhesive tape or an outer clamping strap.
Bag dispenser
A bag dispenser includes a frame with a roller portion for receiving a bag roll defined by a plurality of bags attached to a leading bag to be dispensed, the roller defining a longitudinal axis. A brake plate is configured to capture the leading bag against the frame for providing frictional force on the leading bag to limit sliding thereof, the brake plate pivotally attached to the frame via a pivot arm, the brake plate pivotable with respect to the frame between a non-pivoted friction-application position and a pivoted bag roll-installment position, the pivot arm configured to pivot with respect to the frame along a pivot plane generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
RACKS WITH ROLL BRAKE MECHANISM FOR DISPOSING ROLL BAGS
A dispenser is disclosed for dispensing plastic bags from bag rolls. The dispenser includes a base frame and an arm pivotally connected to the base frame. A roll stop is attached to the arm to be inserted in the core of the bag roll when one is nested on the frame. The roll stop includes an internal spring which applies a braking force to the interior of the core of the bag roll to prevent the bag roll from spinning.
ROLL HOLDER ASSEMBLY FOR LOADING MEDIA ROLLS IN WIDE FORMAT PRINTERS
A media roll holder assembly for a roll is detachably supported in a printing system. A rotational drive includes a roll engaging element configured for fittingly engaging and driving a drive engaging element of a roller, for example an Oldham coupling. A first guide surface is configured to support and direct the roller in a loading direction. A second guide surface at least partially extends at an angle with respect to the first guide surface, such that movement of the roller over the first guide surface brings the drive engaging element in contact with the second guide surface. The second guide surface directs the drive engaging element into a predetermined orientation, which orientation aligns the drive engaging element with the roll engaging element in a loading orientation, such that further movement of the roller in the loading direction inserts the drive engaging element into the roll engaging element.
CORE INSERT AND HAND TOOL FOR DISPENSING MATERIAL WOUND ON A CORE
A core insert (103) for insertion into a core (700) of a roll (500, 600) of material and a hand tool using the core insert for applying the material to a surface (1100). The insert (103) includes a gripper sleeve bearing (7) rotatably connected to a spindle hub (101) attached to an axle shaft (1). The bearing (7) has tapered axial splines (104) extending away from center of the bearing (7) configured to grip the inner surface of the core (700). The hand tool includes the core insert (103) and an axle shaft (1), a handle shaft (2) and a shaft connector (9). The axle shaft (1) is insertable into the core (700) with the bearing (7) inserted into the (700) core to releasably and frictionally engage the core (700) so that the roll (500, 600) is rotatable about the axle shaft (1) along with the bearing (7).

A label dispenser coupled to product-transporting carts at retail facilities includes a label roll support arm supporting multiple label rolls thereon, a label guide arm including openings that permit a leading portion of the backing substrate of a label roll to pass therethrough, and a side wall interconnecting the label roll support arm and the label guide arm. The label guide arm also includes an upper portion located above the openings and configured to support the backing substrates of the label rolls thereon. The label guide arm further includes an edge configured to facilitate separation of a leading peelable label from the backing substrate in response to a force applied by the user when pulling the leading portion of the backing substrate of the label roll through the opening of the label guide arm.
ROLL TRANSFER DEVICE AND ROLL TRANSFER METHOD
The present invention includes: a transportation device including a roll holding shaft extending in a predetermined direction from a distal section of an arm to hold a roll in a state of being inserted into a core member of the roll; and a mounting section disposed within a moving range of the roll holding shaft, the mounting section allowing the roll to be mounted in a state where both ends of an axial direction of the core member of roll are open. The transportation device mounts the roll on the mounting section, the roll holding shaft is pulled out from the core member of the roll mounted on the mounting section to one side of an axial direction of the core member, and the roll holding shaft pulled out from the core member is inserted into the core member from the other side of the axial direction.
Upright cutter for packing materials
An upright cutter for packing materials includes a base, a support device, and a cutting device. The base includes an upright post. The support device has a shaft. The shaft is vertically fixed to the upright post. The cutting device includes a pole. The pole is pivotally connected to the upright post. The pole is connected with a transverse rod. The transverse rod is parallel to the shaft. The transverse rod is provided with a cutting member which is movable axially along the transversely rod. Two sides of the cutting member are provided with blades, respectively. The pole can be pivoted, so that the transverse rod is adjusted to the most appropriate position. By using the blades at the two sides of the cutting member, the cutting member can be moved back and forth on the transverse rod for cutting to improve the cutting efficiency.
