CASTABLE OBJECT SYSTEM
A castable object is described. In some embodiments, a castable object includes: a structure including a first distal end and a second distal end; a fastener coupled to the first distal end, where the fastener is configured to couple to a fishing system; and a first fastening surface attached to at least the second distal end, where the castable object is configured to be cast by the fishing system onto a target, and where the first fastening surface is configured to removably attach to a second fastening surface of the target.
FISHING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A fishing information management system includes a fishing reel and an external information communication terminal capable of communicating with the fishing reel, transmits casting information from the fishing reel to the external information communication terminal each time a cast is performed, and is configured to stop the transmission of the casting information on the last cast but one, and to transmit at least part of the casting information on the last cast, when the casting information on the last cast but one is not transmitted or has not been completely transmitted to the external information communication terminal upon the ending of the last cast.
FISHING REEL
A fishing reel includes a spool capable of winding a fishing line, a detector capable of detecting the rotation amount of the spool, a storage that records the rotation amount of the spool as a detection result, and a transmitter that transmits the detection result to the outside, and is configured to select the casting mode when the detection result of the rotation amount of the spool is equal to or greater than a first threshold, and to select the drop mode when the detection result of the rotation amount of the spool is less than the first threshold.
FISHING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A fishing information management system has a fishing rod to which a fishing reel with a spool is attached, and includes an operation/environment information detector that detects information on operation and environment of operation of fishing tools when in use, a storage that stores the information on the operation and operation environment of the fishing tools when in use, a display that displays said information, wherein the display is capable of displaying at least one of the list view of the information on the operation and operation environment of the fishing tools for each casting and dropping, the detailed view of the information on the operation and operation environment of the fishing tools at the predetermined time of casting and dropping, or the statistical information view of statistical information calculated from the information on the operation and operation environment of the fishing tools for each casting and dropping.
FISHING TOOL IDENTIFICATION DEVICE AND FISHING TOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A fishing tool identification device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is attachable to a fishing tool, and is configured to include a tag identification portion capable of reading an identification tag that identifies the fishing tool.
Fishing Rod Holder Alert Apparatus
A fishing rod holder alert apparatus for improved ice fishing includes a housing, a rod aperture configured to hold the handle of a fishing rod, and a pivot rod. The pivot arm moves between a side position and an alternate front position. A swing arm moves between an engaged position and an alternate released position and has a line slot configured to secure a fishing line. A plurality of magnets is coupled to the pivot arm. A ferrous strip is coupled to the swing arm and is selectively engageable with the plurality of magnets to secure the swing arm in the engaged position until pulled by the fishing line, tripping a switch sensor to activate a buzzer. A logic module and a battery are coupled to the housing. The battery is in operational communication with the switch sensor, the buzzer, and the logic module.
SONIC STIMULATION AND DETECTION OF FISH
A sonic stimulation and detection device includes an enclosure mounted on a fishing rod having to a fishing line attached to and extending along the rod. A microphone element is mounted in the enclosure and is acoustically coupled to the line through the enclosure and the rod line to couple sounds of fish contact with the line to the microphone. The microphone may be coupled to a headphone. A sound generator is mounted in the enclosure and is acoustically coupled to the line through the enclosure and the rod to couple fish simulating sounds generated thereby to the line to attract fish to a lure attached to the line. The enclosure is shaped to efficiently couple sounds coupled from the line to the microphone and sounds generated by the sound generator to the line.
PIVOTING FISHING ROD
A pivoting fishing rod device including: a fishing rod frame pivotally coupled to a base arm on a rotational joint; the fishing rod frame comprising a rod arm and a support arm; rotation of the fishing rod frame relative to the base arm provided on an axis of rotation defined by the rotational joint, the rod arm coupled to the support arm so that the rotation of the rod arm and the support arm is co-dependent; a first resilient member coupled to a first attachment point mounted on the base arm and a second attachment point mounted on the support arm, the first resilient member configured to produce a tension counterbalance force as a distance between the first attachment point and the second attachment point increases. The first resilient member can apply the counterbalance force to the support arm providing a support vector to counterbalance a first load vector of a first load applied to the rod arm, the first load comprising a fishing line and hook hanging from the rod arm, the first load vector in a direction of the vector of gravity, the counterbalance force biasing the rod arm in a first range of angular position upon applying the first load and the counterbalance force allowing rotational motion of the rod arm in a second range of angular position upon applying a second load, the second load comprising a fish strike on the fishing line and hook.
