Accumulator for Processing Line and Method of Using Same
A processing line processes logs of convolutely wound web material and has upstream and downstream sections. A main accumulator has buckets that receive, hold, and release logs. An input feeder receives logs from the upstream section and conveys them to a bucket of main accumulator. A loader has a loader accumulator and loader buckets that receive, hold, and release logs. A transfer conveyor between the main accumulator and the loader receives a log from the main accumulator bucket and conveys the log a loader bucket independently of the input feeder. The loader receives a log from the transfer conveyor. The loader conveys the log in the loader bucket to a discharge of the loader. The loader discharge discharges the log from the loader bucket to the downstream section of the processing line.
UNWINDER FOR ROLLS OF PAPER AND SIMILAR
An unwinder (1) of rolls (B1, B2) including a bearing structure (3) and two pairs of arms (11A, 11B; 13A, 13B) supported movable on the bearing structure (3). The unwinder further includes a splicing machine (31). The bearing structure (3) includes a base (5) and an upright (7) extending from the base, on which a cross member (33) is supported. The cross member (33) includes an intermediate portion (33A) rigidly bound to the upright (7) and a pair of lateral supports (33B, 33C) adapted to assume at least one operating position and one non-operating position, with respect to the inter-mediate portion (33A) of the cross member (33).
DISPOSABLE PRODUCT ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A machine for producing disposable products anticipates when a current run of a product size is coming to an end, and therefore begins loading of material rolls intended for the next product size or code that will be run. An integrated production facility layout automatically orders and stocks raw material based on production plans, and commands a production machine to produce specific products of differing configurations, and automatically loads appropriately sized raw materials into the process.
Factory for manufacturing absorbent article
A factory for manufacturing an absorbent article includes a building that includes an upper story and a lower story located below the upper story. The upper story and lower story include a floor, a wall provided along an entire periphery of the floor, an illumination device provided on a ceiling, and an air conditioner having an air outlet for discharging air, respectively. An opening is formed in the floor of the upper story. The upper story includes a paying-out device to which a material coil on which a nonwoven fabric is wound is attached and that pays out the nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric serves as at least one type among a plurality of types of materials. The lower story includes a processing section that processes the plurality of types including the nonwoven fabric that is transported from the upper story through the opening.
Plant and process for the production of paper rolls
Process for the production of paper rolls, including a step of producing logs (L) of paper material by winding a predetermined amount of paper web (W) about a respective longitudinal axis, a step of transverse cutting of the logs (L) to obtain rolls (RO) of predetermined length, and an intermediate step of transporting the logs (L) from a rewinder (R) that produces the logs (L) toward a cutting-off machine (CM) that cuts them transversely. The intermediate transporting step involves the handling of the logs (L) along a path comprising a lateral deviation, so that, as they advance, the logs (L) are subjected to the lateral deviation.
Plant and process for the production of paper rolls
Process for the production of paper rolls, including a step of producing logs (L) of paper material by winding a predetermined amount of paper web (W) about a tubular core (C) oriented transversely with respect to a direction (PP) of entering of the paper web (W) in a rewinder (R) in which the winding is executed, and a step of transverse cutting of the logs (L) to obtain rolls (R) of predetermined length. The cores (C) are produced by a tube-forming machine (T) whose position is intercepted by the direction (PP) of the paper (W) entering the Rewinder.
Disposable product assembly systems and methods
A web unwinding and splicing system includes a turret unwind having a turret arm with rotatable shafts at opposing ends thereof to unwind a running web of an expiring web material roll and unwind a waiting web of a new web material roll. A web splicing unit operable with the turret unwind includes a web deflection device that bumps the running web onto the waiting web to splice the running web with the waiting web and a cutting device that selectively severs the running web, thereby creating a leading portion of the running web that is spliced to the waiting web and a trailing portion of the running web that remains separate from the waiting web. A vacuum system is positioned proximate the running web to suction in the trailing portion of the running web left on the expiring web material roll.
TRANSFERRING APPARATUS FOR MATERIAL FOR ELECTRODE
A transfer apparatus for a material for an electrode according to an embodiment of the disclosed technology includes an apparatus body; a gripping device configured to grip a reel wound around a current collector; a first moving device connected to the gripping device and the apparatus body and configured to move the gripping device; a position changing device configured to rotate the reel when the reel is seated; and a first discharge device disposed on one side of the apparatus body and configured to discharge the reel to the outside of the apparatus body when the rotated reel is seated.
PRINTER
A printer includes a printer main body that performs printing on a medium, a supporting frame that supports the printer main body from a lower side, a tension applying mechanism including a tension bar that comes into contact with a medium before printing and applies a tension to the medium, and a first roll attaching portion and a second roll attaching portion to which the medium before printing wound into a roll shape is attachable. The roll attaching portion, the tension bar, and the roll attaching portion are disposed on a back side of the supporting frame and are disposed in such order from a supporting frame side; and a medium after printing is wound into a roll shape on a front side of the supporting frame. The tension applying mechanism includes a frame having a guide groove for guiding the tension bar in a vertical direction.
