Paper supply device
A paper supply device is equipped with a paper supply unit that sequentially supplies a plurality of print media, and a control unit that controls the paper supply unit. During sequential supply of a plurality of print media at a paper supply interval, in the case that it is necessary to secure a paper supply interval which is set in advance and is longer than the paper supply interval, a reference paper supply interval, based on a point in time which is a natural number multiple of the paper supply interval, and a post print process paper supply interval are compared. Print media are supplied at the post print process paper supply interval in the case that the post print process paper supply interval and the reference paper supply interval are different.

At least one of the transfer paths is equipped with at least one sheet stack feed unit and/or at least one collator-feeder.

A banknote storage device includes a housing member having a loading region in which a banknote is loaded; a storage which is disposed to be adjacent to the housing member and in which the banknote is stored; a temporary accumulation region provided between the loading region and the storage so as to temporarily accumulate the banknote to be stored in the storage; and a push-in mechanism that pushes the banknote loaded to the loading region, into the temporary accumulation region and that pushes a plurality of the banknotes accumulated in the temporary accumulation region, into the storage.

A banknote temporary storage device includes: a timing unit, configured to obtain a time period between a time when the front end of a banknote enters into a first sensor and a time when the back end of the banknote leaves the first sensor; a calculating unit, configured to calculate a width of the banknote based on the time period, calculate a bump radius based on the width, and determine a condition of generating a bump on the storage coiling block; a detecting unit, configured to detect whether the condition of generating a bump on the storage coiling block is met, based on a real-time radius; and an interval control unit, configured to change an interval between banknotes on the storage coiling block in a pre-set control manner to eliminate a bump, in a case that the condition is met.

Sheet conveying apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveying apparatus includes a first roller pair conveying a sheet, a second roller pair provided downstream, in a sheet conveying direction, of the first roller pair, and a moving member having an abutment portion. The moving member moves from an abutment position in a sheet conveying path upstream of a nip portion of the second roller pair to a passing position at which the sheet conveyed by the first roller pair is allowed to pass through. In a case where a first sheet and a second sheet are conveyed successively by the first roller pair, when the moving member is at the abutment position in which the abutment portion is pushed by the second sheet while the first sheet is conveyed by the second roller pair, a rear end of the first sheet is located upstream of the nip portion of the second roller pair.
Paper sheet conveyance device and image forming apparatus
A paper sheet conveyance device includes a plurality of conveyance members and conveys a paper sheet while performing temporary stop of conveying and then restart of conveying. Two paper sheets sequential in a conveyance direction stop together in a state of the temporary stop, driving a first transfer member to which a preceding first paper sheet that is one of the two paper sheets is opposed and a second conveyance member to which a following second paper sheet that is the other paper sheet is opposed is stopped and restarted synchronously for the temporary stop and the restart. A stop position information acquisition unit acquires information on a position on the conveyance path at which the second paper sheet stops in the state of the temporary stop, and a timing for stopping the conveying after the conveying is restarted is controlled according to the acquired information.
