Fishing Gaff and Methods of Production Thereof
In one aspect, a fishing gaff includes a shaft, at least a first grip circumscribing a grip end segment of the shaft, and a hook member engaged with a hook end segment of the shaft. The hook end segment of the shaft is opposite to and longitudinally spaced from the grip end segment of the shaft. The hook member includes a shank extending longitudinally along the hook end segment of the shaft, an engagement segment located proximally on the shank and extending transversely away from the shank into a transversely-oriented hole of the hook end segment of the shaft, and a piercing element configured to pierce fish that is located distally on the shank. The piercing element extends distally beyond a distal end of the shaft. The fishing gaff also includes a coupling member disposed circumferentially around the shank to hold the shank onto the shaft.
FISHING PLIERS
A fishing pliers comprising a upper clamping member having a first gear fixed after the front end of the upper clamping member; a lower clamping member having protrusion extending upwardly, to form a jaw opening for holding fish mouth with the protrusion extending downwardly positioned at the front end of the upper clamping member and a second gear fixed after the front end of the lower clamping member, which is engaged with the first gear; an upper handle, the upper clamping member pivoting to the front end of the upper handle through the drive shaft of the first gear, and the lower clamping member pivoting to the front end of the upper handle by the drive shaft of the second gear; and an lower handle, the lower clamping member pivoting to the front end of the lower handle at a first pivot point of the back end of the lower clamping member; herein, the lower handle moves with respect to the upper handle, to drive the second gear of the lower clamping member rotating with respect to the first gear of the upper champing member relatively, and to implement contact or separation between the front end of the upper clamping member and the front end of the lower clamping member. The fishing pliers disclosed in the present invention is comfortable and convenience, and allows the upper clamping member and the lower clamping member to reach a appropriate opening angle.
Handheld collector device for gathering small objects
A handheld collector device adapted to retrieve small objects, the device having an elongated handle, a head mounted to the handle, a plurality of tine sets retained by the head and an ejection mechanism to eject the objects. Each tine set has a plurality of individual tines projecting outwardly in spaced relation. The tines are relatively rigid members possessing a degree of flexibility such that when the ends of the tines are pressed onto objects to be collected, the tines flex sufficiently to pass over and capture the objects. The device is modular in construction such that the tine sets can be removed and replaced in order to adapt the device to provide optimum results for varying sizes and types of objects.
Gaff With Bonker
Representative implementations of devices and techniques provide a releasable bonker configured to be removably coupled to a modular handle. The modular handle can include a permanent or releasable gaff hook.
