RECORDING APPARATUS
Convex portions formed on a sheet of paper by a forming section are maintained in a favorable condition and good recording quality is obtained.
Draw-in device for sheet-type articles
A draw-in apparatus having at least two rotatable draw-in rollers for drawing in sheet goods, in particular bank notes, wherein the draw-in rollers are arranged relative to each other with meshing roller profiles respectively extending transversely to the draw-in direction so as to define a draw-in gap for the sheet goods, and wherein the draw-in rollers have axial cross-sectional profiles mutually matched such that a clearance between the draw-in rollers changes periodically upon a rotation of the draw-in rollers.
STACKER HOPPER WITH FEED INTERRUPT
A sheet stacking system includes a conveyor for carrying sheets from a conveyor intake end to a conveyor discharge end and a hopper at the discharge end for receiving the sheets and guiding them as they fall in a cascade path onto a platform. The hopper has a backstop facing the discharge end of the conveyor and a first accumulator that includes a carrier and a support extending from the carrier through the backstop. The support is configured to rotate from a retracted position to an extended position relative to the backstop, and the carrier is movable linearly and vertically relative to the backstop with the support in the extended position from a raised location with the support outside the cascade path to a lowered location with the support in the cascade path.
Image recording apparatus
An image recording apparatus for recording an image on a sheet includes a recording section which records the image on the sheet in a transport passage for transporting the sheet in a transport direction and multiple plates which are spaced apart from each other in a widthwise direction. These multiple plates include a first type of plate and a second type of plate. Plates of a first type of plate are configured to overlap a sheet when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction and the widthwise direction, while plates of the second type of plate do not.
Discharge device and image forming apparatus
A discharge device which discharges a sheet includes: a driving shaft which is driven to rotate by a driving source; a plurality of driving rotating members which is provided on the driving shaft; a rotating member which is provided on the driving shaft, has a larger outside diameter than an outside diameter of the driving rotating member, is formed by joining at least two divided components, and includes stepped portions that protrude, to a larger extent, in a radial direction in boundary portions of the at least two components on upstream sides of a rotation direction of the rotating member than on downstream sides thereof; and follower rotating members which are pressed against the driving rotating members.
PAPER SHEET TRANSPORTATION MECHANISM AND PAPER SHEET HANDLING DEVICE
A paper sheet transportation mechanism includes: transportation portions between which a paper sheet is sandwiched so as to transport the paper sheet; and a transportation guide that protrudes in a direction of the paper sheet sandwiched by the transportation portions such that the paper sheet is deformed into a wave shape in a cross section perpendicular to a transportation direction of the paper sheet, and that extends in the transportation direction.
Stacking apparatus
A stacking apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a stacking unit, and a separation member supply unit. The conveyance unit conveys sheets for circuit board. The stacking unit stacks the sheets. The separation member supply unit supplies a separation member to separate the stacked sheets at any position. The separation member supply unit places the separation member on the sheet in being conveyed.
SEPARATION UNIT AND A DISPENSER COMPRISING A SEPARATION UNIT
A separation unit for separating a web material along preformed lines of weakness. The separation unit has a width direction and includes a first roller having a rotational axis extending in the width direction and a web width extending in the width direction, and a second roller having a rotational axis extending parallel with the rotational axis of the first roller and a web width extending in the width direction. The second roller is positioned at a distance from the first roller. Each of the first and the second rollers is provided with a plurality of protrusion elements being spaced along the rotational axes and protruding perpendicular from the axes. Each of the protrusion elements has a maximum width in the width direction, a maximum radial extension from the rotational axes, an inner portion adjacent to the rotational axes, and an outer portion remote from the rotational axes.
INKJET PRINTER WHICH STIFFENS SHEET
An inkjet printer includes: at least one inkjet head configured to eject ink to a sheet and print an image; at least one stiffening conveyor configured to convey the sheet toward the at least one inkjet head in a conveyance direction while stiffening the sheet by deforming the sheet into a wave shape in a width direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction; and at least one platen arranged to face the at least one inkjet head and having a protrusion, the protrusion provided on a surface of the at least one platen facing the at least one inkjet head and configured to support a convex portion in the wave shape of the deformed sheet, the at least one platen configured to support the sheet while keeping the sheet deformed in the wave shape.
Stacker device to stack sheets of print media
Stacker device to stack sheets of print media. The stacker device comprises a tray to stack the sheets. The tray comprises an M-shaped tray section to apply an M-shaped profile to a sheet along a direction perpendicular to the sheet's advance direction to reduce curling. The stacker device further comprises a roof. The roof comprises at least one adjustable roof portion to limit a height of a curl of the sheet.
