DRYING DEVICE AND AIR BLOWING DEVICE
A drying device includes a sheet conveyance portion, a warm air blowing portion disposed above and opposite to the sheet conveyance portion and to blow a warm air from a nozzle on the sheet. A first casing accommodates the warm air blowing portion and a second casing accommodates the sheet conveyance portion. The first casing is movable to a closed position opposite to the sheet conveyance portion and an open position for opening the sheet conveyance portion. The first casing positioned in the closed position moves to the open position by being moved upward to the second casing in a vertical direction, and the warm air blowing portion is movable to the first casing in the vertical direction in a state in which the first casing is positioned in the open position.
APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATED PRODUCTION OF A ROLL OF WAXED FABRIC
An apparatus for producing a roll of waxed fabric is provided, the apparatus comprising: a frame; a temperature controlled bath at an entrance end of the frame; a squeegee pressed against an exit side of the temperature controlled bath; a cooling tower adjacent the temperature controlled bath, the cooling tower including walls and a manifold to define a cooling zone, the manifold for delivering a flow of air to the cooling zone, a tower roller rotatably mounted above the cooling zone and a lower roller rotatably mounted proximate an exit side of the cooling tower; a blower for delivering air to the manifold; a collection roller rotatably mounted adjacent the alignment roller; a driver roller in rolling engagement with the collection roller; and a motor in mechanical communication with the driver motor for driving the driver motor. A method of producing a roll of waxed fabric is also provided.
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a drying device for drying a sheet by blowing air. The drying device includes a first duct with a suction opening for sucking air outside, a second duct with a blowing hole through which the air sucked from the suction opening is blown toward the sheet, a heater for heating air inside of the second duct; and a first fan for sending the air from the suction opening to the blowing hole. The suction opening is provided on a front side of the inkjet recording apparatus with respect to the second duct. The first duct forms a first flow passage of air flowing on the front side with respect to the second duct, and a second flow passage of air flowing downstream of the first flow passage in a flowing direction from the suction opening to the blowing hole and above the second duct.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printer includes a printing section configured to perform printing on roll paper, a transport surface (hot plate) where the roll paper on which printing has been performed is transported, and a heater unit (heater) for heating the transport surface. The stated transport surface includes a plurality of projections with which the roll paper makes slide contact.
Film-forming apparatus and film-forming method
There is provided a film-forming apparatus including a roll-to-roll mechanism and a heating unit. The roll-to-roll mechanism is configured to transport a film-forming target and includes a tensile force relaxation unit configured to relax a tensile force applied to the transported film-forming target. The heating unit is configured to heat the film-forming target transported by the roll-to-roll mechanism.
SYSTEM AND METHODS INVOLVING FABRICATING SHEET PRODUCTS
A system for fabricating a sheet product. A first rotatable roller includes a rotatable drum portion having an outer surface that rotates about a rotational axis in a first direction and conveys a sheet product. The rotatable drum portion also has a plurality of ports communicative between an inner surface and an outer surface. The ports extend along and around the drum portion. The first rotatable roller emits a pressurized fluid. A second rotatable roller has an outer surface arranged proximate to the outer surface of the rotatable drum portion of the first rotatable roller, and a heat source portion to heat the second rotatable roller to dry the sheet product. The second rotatable roller rotates in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction. A gap is defined between the second rotatable roller and the first rotatable roller through which the sheet product passes.
Sheet handling apparatus with rotary drum
A sheet handling apparatus comprising a rotary drum having an outer peripheral wall with perforations, and a number of separate chambers, a suction system for controlling a flow of air through the perforations, thereby to attract sheets to the peripheral wall of the drum, and a stationary shutter member for blocking the flow of air through the perforations when they pass through a predetermined angular range. The number of separate chambers extend in axial direction and are distributed over the periphery of the drum. A disk-shaped manifold at the first axial end of the drum is co-rotatably with the drum. The manifold forms a number of radial channels each connected to one of said chambers and having an opening at a radially inward end of each channel. The stationary shutter member is arranged for blocking an opening of a channel to block air flow from a radially inward end of a channel.
System and methods involving fabricating sheet products
A system for fabricating a sheet product includes a first rotatable roller assembly operative to emit a pressurized fluid through an outer surface of the first rotatable roller assembly, and a second rotatable roller assembly having an outer surface arranged proximate to the outer surface of the first rotatable roller assembly, the second rotatable roller assembly and the first rotatable roller assembly are operative to rotate in opposing directions, the second rotatable roller assembly and the first rotatable roller assembly defining a gap therebetween through which a sheet material passes in contact with the outer surface of the first rotatable roller assembly and the outer surface of the second rotatable roller assembly, the emitted pressurized fluid operative to impinge a surface of the sheet material and separate contact between the outer surface of the first rotatable roller assembly and the sheet material.
METHOD FOR MAKING AN ELECTRONIC PRODUCT WITH FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATE
A method for making an electronic product. The method includes processing a flexible substrate (e.g., a web) with the use of a tensioner having a vacuum plate and an indexer that intermittently moves the flexible substrate for processing. While a designated location of the flexible substrate is stopped at a processing location, a process is performed on the designated location. Wherein while the designated location is stopped at the processing location, the vacuum plate of the tensioner moves in an opposite direction of the transport direction.
Thermal Sealing Device
A thermal sealing device includes a frame (1) for supporting the various elements, a handle or grip bar (2), a roll support (3) with a roll-carrying shaft, possibly a guide (4) through which the seal passes, and a device for cutting (5) the seal, wherein the seal includes a paper seal roll (6) provided with a thermal adhesive which is activated when it is subjected to the action of a heat source, the sealing device also including an element (7) for applying the seal and at least one arm (9) for carrying an element (7) for applying the seal in an automatic actuation embodiment, a seal heater being provided in both cases, which is normally arranged on the applicator element.
