Automatic method and device for cutting substrates having printed images
The invention relates to a method for cutting substrates with printed images in an automatic cutting device. The longitudinal cutting marks (LM) are provided with a discontinuity (N) arranged upstream of each transverse cutting mark (TM) with respect to a feeding direction (F) of a substrate (S) and spaced therefrom by a predefined known measure (d). The automatic cutting device has a first optical unit configured to detect the transverse cutting marks (TM) and a second optical unit configured to detect the discontinuities (N) in the longitudinal cutting mark (LM). Since the velocity of the substrate is known, the control system activates the first optical unit when the transverse cutting mark (TM) actually passed underneath it.

Conveyor device
The present disclosure is a conveyor device which feeds a thin workpiece from an unwinding roll and conveys the thin workpiece on a conveyance path. The conveyor device includes first movable holding members, fixed holding members, a cutting device, second movable holding members, a first position sensor, and a first correction mechanism.
POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS
A post-processing apparatus performs post-processing on a paper sheet conveyed from a previous stage side, and includes: a corrector that performs bend correction on the paper sheet, in accordance with one of a plurality of bend correction methods; a post-processor that performs the post-processing on the paper sheet subjected to the bend correction performed by the corrector; and a hardware processor that selects one of the plurality of bend correction methods, on the basis of a bend correction accuracy corresponding to a product to be created by the post-processing being performed by the post-processor, and a productivity of the product, wherein from the plurality of bend correction methods, the hardware processor selects a bend correction method that reduces a difference between a post-processing time required for the post-processor to perform the post-processing and a correction time required for the corrector to perform the bend correction on the paper sheet.

An image forming apparatus includes: an image former that forms an image on a sheet-like recording medium; a cutting processor that cuts, into divided areas, a recording medium conveyed from the image former; a reversing processor having a function to reverse the recording medium cut by the cutting processor; and an image forming data generator that generates image forming data, wherein the image forming data generator generates, the image forming data in which the images are imposed on a front surface and a back surface of the recording medium before the cutting, the image former forms the images on the front surface and the back surface of the recording medium based on the image forming data, and the reversing processor aligns the cutoff sides of the recording media after the cutting, by executing front-back reversal for some of the recording media cut into sheets by the cutting processor.
FLEXIBLE MATERIAL TRANSPORT SYSTEM
A flexible material transport system for fabric and a system for continuous fabric workflow is presented. The flexible material transport system comprises a printing machine, a material web transporter connected to the printing machine, a material accumulator connected to the material web transporter, and a cutting machine connected to the material accumulator, wherein the material accumulator is configured to feed printed fabric from the material web transporter into the cutting machine, and wherein the material web transporter comprises a plurality of rollers configured to control movement of the fabric from the printing machine to the material accumulator and onto the cutting machine. The system can also comprise a heater and/or an image scanner. The system for continuous fabric workflow comprises two or more of the flexible material transport systems. Information regarding the fabric can be tracked for local or centralized reporting and additional data processing.
